He has nuisance value – Aisha Yesufu reveals why she’s working with El-Rufai in ADC

By Ifreke Inyang

Co-convener of the defunct BringBackOurGirls movement, Aisha Yesufu, has explained why she decided to join former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, in the coalition despite the enmity that existed between them.

Yesufu, reacting to criticisms on social media insisted that nation building is not “a romantic affair”.

According to her, El-Rufai has a nuisance value that will be useful as they attempt to remove President Bola Tinubu from power in 2027.

Yesufu wrote on X: “Nasir El Rufai @elrufai has a nuisance value: his anger and vindictiveness, and you think I will not use that?

“Let me laugh in 3D!!!!!!

“You think Nation building is a romantic affair? I am okay with looking bad while you look good.”
