NPFL: Bendel Insurance sign 18 new players

Bendel Insurance have announced the signing of 18 new players for the new season, DAILY POST reports.

Top of the list of the newly recruited players are former Enyimba players Uche Collins and James Oronsaye.

Others are Kayode Oke from Shooting Stars, Suleiman Solihu (Kwara United), Emmanuel Ugwu (Dakkada FC), Moses Ajiboye (Nasarawa Utd), and Isaac Ajibola (Sporting Lagos).

Chinedu Onyinjekwe was recruited from Fame FC, Uche Martins (Rangers), Jesse Kelechi (Crown FC), Stephen Bekewe (Bayelsa Utd), Martin Owolija (Niger Tornadoes) and Nazir Mohammed, from a non-league side.

Edo State Commissioner for Sports Yusuuf Alli urged the new players to be disciplined and focused as they continue to blend with the old ones in order to play as a formidable team that can make the state proud again.

Bendel Insurance will host Rivers Utd in their first match of the season on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
