Shettima, Jonathan, Akpabio, Fubara, others in Akwa Ibom for First Lady’s burial

Some prominent Nigerians and politicians have stormed Akwa Ibom State for the burial of Governor Umo Eno’s wife, Patience.

The ceremony, which is holding at Ikot Ekpene Udo in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area of the state, has a large gathering of eminent personalities in attendance.

In attendance are Vice President Kashim Shettima, who is representing President Bola Tinubu; former President Goodluck Jonathan; and Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Others are Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State, his counterparts in Abia and Imo states, Alex Otti and Hope Uzodimma, the acting national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Umar Damagum, among others.

The Akwa Ibom first lady, Patience Eno passed away on September 26, 2024, after a brief illness.
