his piece briefly explores the contentious and contradictory issues of leadership and followership in Nigeria. In a few words, it highlights the challenges of corruption and the need for accountability. But who will ensure this probity?
Nigeria, with one day, many numbed troubles! Nigeria is a dysfunctional society plagued by the crisis of Reasoning, Corruption, Conscience, and Greed—RCCG; everyone is involved—no exception. You cannot dispute but impute the endemic chronic corruption in all facets of Nigerian life. Trust anyone in your own future or psychological imperil.
For those of us following the current stanza in our country's ugly poetic scenes and poetry of lamentations, VDM and his unsuspecting followers should realize that Femi Falana is a reputable lawyer who has carved a niche for himself in the legal industry. The Honourable Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has been a wonderful leader who is a good representation of the best in our evolving youth leadership. Femi Falana and his son should also issue a public statement addressing the suspicion surrounding their alleged involvement in the anathema of Bobrisky and EFCC saga. In a country besieged by a myriad of problems, the poor are left wondering where they can find solace and when they will be able to breathe fresh air of good leadership.
