ith a sense of unease and nervousness, I must admit that I fear the weight of history more than I fear death itself. While death may mark the end of our earthly struggles, our actions and choices are forever recorded in the annals of history. It constantly reminds us of our triumphs, failures, good deeds, and missteps. Our legacy will be judged by history, and it is up to us to strive to impact the world around us positively.

Very Disgraceful! Can Mr. Tortoise be audacious enough to bully the Emirs, Shieks, Sultans, or Pope as he did a few days ago to the Yoruba Obas? Did you see how shameful the so-called Obas are in obeisance to the kindergarten commands of this attention-seeker of a man? Why has this man always been against the Yoruba interests? The Ebora man disliked the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Chief MKO Abiola, and everything concerning the Yoruba interest, progress, and development. Mr. Tortoise was one of the instruments of politics that impeded Awo's victory in the first Nigerian republic. He was also a principal instrument and player of the annulment of the June 12 , 1993 presidential election.

Meanwhile, I must admit that I have never been fond of Mr. Tortoise. It appears that life has blessed him with so much, yet he seems to take it all for granted. Whenever he purposefully ignores or disrespects our shared values and what truly matters, I feel compelled to take action against his selfishness, endless chatter, and excessive talk.

However, it's disheartening to see how Mr. Tortoise has taken advantage of our carelessness, deliberate ignorance, and collective amnesia. Despite the damage he's caused to our traditions and collective honor in Yorubaland, we are at a standstill. It's hard to understand how such a frail Ebora man could squander the grace of God in his twilight years and continue to trample on the remnants of our pride. It's time for us to take back our power and stand up against his disgraceful actions to our traditional institutions.

Furthermore, it's troublesome to witness an individual with a talkative personality disregarding the cherished values and traditions of our society. Why should we allow our respected customs to fade away at the mercy of someone who has gained so much with so little effort? Ultimately, Mr. Tortoise's universal admiration, once held by those who upheld their upbringing's integrity, has vanished. We must begin dismantling Mr. Tortoise's bullying persona; otherwise, his shenanigans will be nothing more than a jester's foolishness, providing comic relief in the marketplace of admirable heritage.

It's regrettable that certain Obas and Chiefs in the past have made dishonorable trips to Aso Rock, particularly during the IBB era. Unfortunately, this has caused a disgraceful situation that we are presently facing. It's crucial that we all make ethical sacrifices to rid ourselves of the shameful behavior exhibited by some of our leaders. We cannot be complacent and must take every possible measure to prevent any further humiliation of our royalty. It's time to offer moral libations at the gods' entrance and call off Mr. Tortoise's bluffs to ward off any future disgrace.
