rofessor Chinua Achebe and Professor Wole Soyinka are the two giants of our time. The height of literary idiocy and ethnic bigotry going on about them in social media discourse is jejune, mundane, and sickening! The natters on social media and the children of rage should allow Prof. Chinua Achebe to rest in peace and enable Kongi to savor his red letter day and twilight years. It is absolutely uncalled for, as is the naughty rhetoric going on. We must caution all these lazy children of anger to stop all this nonsense and divisiveness.

Meanwhile, roll our collective cognitive camera back to the immediate year! Peter Obi is a divider, grandstander, and political opportunist. The failed presidency of Peter Obi and the Obidient movement did more harm than good in uniting a nation that requires good leadership. Peter Obi is far, far from being a good leader. He should palm-face himself for not calling his unruly Obidients to order. Peter Obi caused this problem for his selfishness and political opportunism. We cannot trust the pretentious yes-daddy and yes-man with the mantle of leadership at the highest echelon in Nigeria. Obi's political aspiration has suffered a blight, and people have consigned it to the dustbin of history. It's also unthinkable and sickening to see all Igbo and Yoruba people as tribal bigots! Obidiency movement has produced more lazy individuals post Buhari administration. President Tinubu has a lot of work to do to create more jobs and unite Nigerians through participatory government.

We adore Professor Achebe as we adore Professor Wole Soyinka. The two literary geniuses and juggernauts reign supreme as our GOATs in our contemporary culture, literature, and world. The nattering Obidients and their contemporaries in other regions, comparing the two giants of our time in a rueful and divisive way, have no sense of appreciation and history. The irredeemable lives of these unruly Obidients are neutering and soulless. I implore my other good and well-nurtured igbó and Yoruba people to refrain from divisive rhetoric and be thoughtful in their contributions to national discourse.

Professor Chinua Achebe was one of our inspiration icons. The eminent and well-respected professor's books inspired my quest to be an author. Today, to his blessed memory, my newly bestselling published book "Lovecation" is now archived in the US Library of Congress (I got its birthday certificate) a few months ago. Professor Chinua Achebe's influential persona has inspired millions of Nigerians and others worldwide.

Prof Wole Soyinka has consistently demonstrated dignity, brilliance, and distinction, earning him a prominent place among the world's population. He has registered and etched his name among William Shakespeare, Sigmund Freud, Albert Einstein, Chinua Achebe, and other Nobel Laureates in the literary community. WS, our man, deserves all the accolades he gets at his nonagenarian age.

What a glorious day! It was a day full of praises and pieces for Professor WS, the GOAT of our generation. The enigma and our colloquial colossus in the communities of eggheads is soaring like an unstoppable and unflappable eagle! WS is a timeless time in our collective consciousness and time. He is a timber and caliber in the forests of good and bad people.

Professor Wole Soyinka and Professor Chinua Achebe have carved an unmatched niche in academics, literature, and social activism. Engaging in needless argy-bargy about the unmatched status of our GOATs' nuances is preposterous. Our giants of history deserve our collective respect and existential admiration. The needless comparison between our GOATs must stop, and the call to end divisive rhetoric is essential. It should end immediately!
