"Beware of book poisoning! It's more lethal than food poisoning. The latter may harm only the body, but the former, assuredly, destroys the mind, soul, and spirit." - Aniekan Elbina.
Meanwhile, nature's gifts provided a banquet for the fierce leaders. At the same time, the smaller animals, more delicate souls, navigated their environment, ever alert to the looming threat of becoming a sumptuous feast for their mightier counterparts. The lush expanse of land thrived, serving as a veritable treasure chest for the residents of this animated domain. In this kingdom of beasts, the issue was not the existence of wealth but how such riches were spent or utilized to benefit the rich and the poor in the animal kingdom.
Yet, the era of the dominant creatures soon spiraled into a reign of oppression as they brandished their might to bully and loot the treasures of weaker societies in the animal kingdom. Corruption permeated the core of authority, sparking intense rivalries that transformed the erstwhile tranquil realm into a battleground for supremacy, power, and influence, leaving the lesser beings to endure the turmoil unleashed by the dominance of their leadership.
Ultimately, the marauders of the animal kingdom amassed a fortune for themselves. The corrupt elite manipulated the lower creatures against each other, tossing crumbs and scraps from their feast of corruption.
Amidst this turmoil, a crafty creature known as Mr. Tortoise, whose shrewdness became increasingly apparent. Providence and nature bestowed Kampe's wealth of health upon Mr. Tortoise. In fact, Mr. Tortoise remained the luckiest animal in the animal kingdom. Yet, he underappreciated the goodness of nature that was gifted to him.
Mr. Tortoise was an ALIP—Any Leader in Power. He deftly aligned himself with any dominant beast in power, wielding his cunning, grandstanding flair, opportunistic nature, grandstanding, and influence to disrupt harmonious relations within the animal kingdom. Any animal in the kingdom that attempted to outshine him became his adversary or frenemy.
As a long-time sinister epistles writer with questionable motives, Mr. Tortoise, now in his later years, wavered in his loyalties. The once-dominant beings were also nearing their end, writing memoirs to reshape their seventy-year legacy of exploitation in the animal kingdom.
At a gathering of the ALEMAK - Association of Looters and Economic Mismanagement in the Animal Kingdom - Mr. Tortoise delivered a speech laced with dry jest and lauded the malevolent mastermind he had once denounced over thirty years prior as a junta whose regime is full of fraud and institutionalized corruption.
In his scathing critique titled 'BB's Regime is a Fraud,' which made headlines in a prominent animal kingdom tabloid, Mr. Tortoise warned fellow creatures, 'If BB the beast tells you it's pouring outside, you might want to peek out to see for yourself!' His propensity for Maradona and machiavellian leadership is not only sardonic but a collective slap on the faces of dwellers of the Animal kingdom.
Fast-forward thirty-two years. After he denounced BB, Mr. Tortoise danced a grim jig, extolling the evil genius BB's virtues to the dismay of the incorruptible and corrupt masses in the animal kingdom. The impoverished and naive inhabitants of the animal kingdom find themselves ensnared in a web of praises and contradictions, bewildered about how to break free from the shackles imposed by their higher animals and privileged oppressors.
In the Animal kingdom, toxic leadership and the absurd status quo remain obstacles to progress and the welfare of lesser beings. At the same time, the chaos of underdevelopment continues to plague this disorderly animal kingdom! A prominent animal in this realm, known for his strategic prowess, saw the desirable position ahead—he perceived it. He exclaimed, "It is my turn," and the rest is woven into the fabric of history leadership. But this shrewd animal is poised with unfettered determination to reorder and overhaul the security of the Animal kingdom.
Sadly, Mr. Tortoise's ostentatious grandstand and arrogance were nothing short of appalling, characterized by revolting and disrespectful allusions to a venerable journalist, a tireless human rights advocate, and a cherished patriarch of his family within the Animal Kingdom. Mr. Tortoise's words were not merely offensive but a profound blasphemy against a respected elder whose life and contributions have intricately woven a rich and inspiring legacy for future generations. One must ponder: what nuances of posterity await Mr. Tortoise in the treacherous depths of shame within the Animal Kingdom?
