he universe is a silent listener
To every thought in my mind
Even before they vanish into thin air
It catches them so kindly

My hopes, my fears, my dreams
Everything lies open before its eyes
It knows my every secret
Even the ones I try to hide

I may think I am alone
But the universe is my guide
It hears my every plea
And takes me on a long journey

Sometimes its answer is gentle
Like a whisper in the breeze
A beautiful moment arises
That calms my spirit

But other times, it is violent
A storm that rages within
The universe reflects
The secrets in my head

It brings my thoughts back to me
In a way I never expected
A mirror of my soul
Which is sometimes rejected.

She is a writer and poet, with BSc. degree in "Information and Communication Technologies for the Production of Software", and MSc. degree in "Computer Science", both obtained from the University of Bari in Italy.
