o matter how tough the journey of life is, there will always be an end. Be encouraged. Don't throw in the towel. There is so much ahead to be achieved if you do not give up. Things may not go the way you have planned it. Life may have forced bitter pills down your throat but you know God will never allow what you've lost to be the best you have ever had. Your best is yet to come. It's not about your cup being half full or being half empty; be thankful you have a cup in the first place. Sometimes you think you are being buried when actually you are being planted. God is using this season to grow you. Trust Him. He has got your back. Be encouraged. Just because you aren't making progress as fast as you think does not mean you aren't making progress at all. Keep going! There is certainly an end to your travail. You have to stop thinking you'll be stuck in your situation forever. Sometimes you may think it is impossible to get out of your present struggles but what you fail to realize is there are seasons of life and that your trial has got an expiration date. Life will change and by the grace of God, things will work out. Don't give up praying because you have not gotten an answer. You need to keep pushing in prayers. You need to keep pressing the 'door bell' of heaven and be rest assured that those doors will open unto you. Don't give up working on yourself. Don't give up trying on that project because you have failed several times. Ben encouraged!

On one of my recent speaking engagements, I was with family and my younger son had something for the elevator at the hotel we were staying. On this particular occasion he pressed hard on the control button but his fingers were not rightly place to get the elevator door to open. He kept pressing so hard yet not on the right spot until the big brother came and bam! He got it and the door slider opened and we walked in and as we stepped in, the Lord spoke to my heart saying "many doors have not been opened unto my children because they have not pressed the right buttons of prayers and perseverance. They keep pressing hard but not on the right spot and after several efforts, they give up and turn away. Our prayers must be strategic to get the result intended. "We received not because we ask amiss" We need to press hard and we need to hit the right spot. If we must get on that 'prayer elevator' that will take us to our next level. We must not give up praying and trusting the Lord. "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." Why give up now, when you are almost there. No! Don't give up. 'Keep pressing' Victory is sure! When you feel like giving up, think about why you started out in the first place. The road may be rough but the destination will be worth it. Sand is turned into pearls and coal into diamonds using time and pressure. God is working on you too. Be encouraged! The Lord made it clear in John 16:33 "…In the world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." He did not tell us it will be easy but at the end of it, it will be worth it. God is still working. When you think you've hit rock bottom, when you feel lost and directionless, when you have nothing but questions and no answers in sight. God is still working. Be encouraged! When the silence around you is deafening and no one is calling, texting or checking on you, always remember, He is still working. You must tell yourself, no matter how hard it is, I must keep working, I must keep praying and I must keep trusting until I make it. There is certainly going to be an end. It will end in Praise.
