"But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come" --- (John 16:13)
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: ---(Acts of the Apostles 2:17-18)
t is part of human nature to want to know what the future holds. At the personal level, we are curiously expectant of one's future career, who your spouse will be, where on earth to live and work etc, while for ages, politicians and leaders have kept soothsayers, star gazers, and all kinds of charlatans in their payroll to predict future events. Satan and his demons have set up their agents and minions as go-betweens among humans with a view to foretelling future events. The True Lord God Almighty swiped at anyone; both fallen angels and humans, dabbling in fortune telling; "Do not turn to mediums or spiritists; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God" (Leviticus 19:31). He decried the abominable practices of seeking mediums, necromancers, readers of Ouija Board, traffickers of tarot cards and all other unholy and unauthorized ways and manners the aboriginal Canaanites desecrated the land and had to be kicked out. That was one of the reasons the children of Israel were brought to replace those demon worshippers and become a nation of priests the surrounding heathen nations would look forward to in knowing the True Lord God Almighty (Exodus 19:1-5). Unfortunately, the Israelites not only failed miserably in keeping their side of the Divine Covenant with the Almighty God established by the blood of heifer on Mt., Horeb with Moses as the intermediary, but they also proved worse than the Canaanites they replaced necessitating the Almighty God to kick them out of the land too.
The Law could not reconcile us back to the Lord God Almighty aftermath of the fall of our First Parents, Adam and Eve and their expulsion from the Garden of Eden. Thus, the Old Testament fell short of human salvation and the Lord God Almighty Himself had to come in the flesh as One of us, as a Human Being in our Lord Jesus Christ to institute the New Testament based on faith and faith alone. Consequently, since the future onerously belongs to the One Who holds the future, He put into operation His Promises in Joel 2:28 thus: "And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke" (Joel 2:28-30). On the Day of Pentecost, this promise of the Almighty God made in the Old Testament was fulfilled in the New Testament after the Glorious Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ Who later came back as the Holy Spirit with His Baptism just as Apostle Peter reminded his Pentecostal Audience. It is on this premise we latch unto in all our prophecies. It should be constructive that as humans, we cannot get it right all the time as flesh may interfere with our spiritual antenna, once a while, but we have gotten it right 98 percent all the time. That is a passing and excellent grade in any clime; natural and spiritual, Hallelujah!
This week, we continue with our political prophecies on the five states of Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti and Enugu which we began two months ago
DELTA: - Incumbent and outgoing Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa of the PDP has performed creditably for all to see. All Deltalites and Nigerians can attest to the success of the Okowa Administration and the jury is out that the political future of Okowa is rosy. Although he may make it to the Senate as usual with his colleagues, but he should steer clear of the presidency. As we often acknowledge in this column, it is the legitimate right of every qualifying Nigerian above the age of 21 years to aspire to the presidency of the nation, so it is with Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa. Now as to his successor, the other guy who has- been has been exerting considerable influence on who occupies the Dennis Osadebey House in Asaba since 1999 because of his vast financial war chest in the Big Heart, but the status quo will not hold in 2023. Hear the words of the Lord God Almighty to the self-proclaimed "godfather" of Delta politics: "Come now, you who are rich, weep and wail over the misery to come upon you. Your riches have rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and consume your flesh like fire. You have hoarded treasure in the last days. Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened your hearts in the day of slaughter. You have condemned and murdered the righteous, who did not resist you" (James 5:1-6).

From Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa to Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi in 2023
As aforementioned, this state is solidly PDP land, and a formidable PDP candidate will ultimately succeed Okowa. So, hear me Kenneth Gbagi, if you have guarded your loins and are ready, this is your time and this is your hour. There are four spiritual steps you will take between now and the end of the third quarter of 2022 and you will walk into your destiny as our prophecies declare.
EBONYI: - One of the greatest political mistakes Gov. David Umahi made was switch from his party, PDP to the APC. He has administered the state creditably and the vast majority of the citizens in the Salt of the Nation give him kudos, but this is his second and last term as chief executive. He should know that the APC cannot, will not and will never present him as its presidential flagbearer in 2023 so what does he gain from switching to the APC? Ebonyi State will be won by the PDP in 2023, but I am yet to see the candidate in the spiritual realm that will occupy the Government House. As I have intimated our Christian brethren, give me a name here and lets talk to the Holy Spirit. I am waiting! As the Word of Life says in I Kings 1:20: "My lord the king, the eyes of all Israel are on you, to learn from you who will sit on the throne of my lord the king after him." There are three career options open to Umahi post-2023 namely: go to the Senate as it is the usual practice in this political clime, retire to private life and or become a political and business wheeler dealer through his company as an engineer. The choice is his.
EKITI: - We have written much about the political future of the current chief executive of the Fountain of Knowledge. To the Glory of my Lord, Master and Savior Jesus Christ, all our prophecies on the governor beginning from the time he was struggling to govern the state and now have all been fulfilled. His presidential ambition is not in doubt going by his body language and again, I have pointed out numerous times, he is highly qualified to be president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, but hear the Holy Spirit in His Words: "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens" (Ecclesiastes 3:10) and why is the Almighty God so program- scheduled in all He does? "For there is a right time and procedure to every purpose, though a man's misery weighs heavily upon him" (Ecclesiastes 8:6). So, what is the political future of His Excellency Governor Kayode John Fayemi of Ekiti State in 2023? The True Lord God Almighty says Fayemi should wait after exiting the seat of the governor in the state. He should go for thanksgiving and express his gratitude to the Almighty God who has brought him thus far and then wait on his next national assignment. As I have pointed out in this column in recent past, he will not be the next president of Nigeria. See our prophecies as published in this column on Friday June 25, 2021: https://nigeriaworld.com/feature/publication/fayemiwo/062521.html ).
Now as to his successor and the person that will take over the baton of gubernatorial power from Fayemi in Ekiti State in 2022, the game-changer is not who the person is, but where the person comes from. The political party that will field its candidate from the political zone this time around will control the levers of power in the state. Ekiti 2022 is akin to what we saw in Kogi State in 2015. Remember what we prophesied about the Confluence State in 2015 when a vote had not been cast and things were in flux and all manners of dramatis personae were oiling their political machines, save the late Abubakar Audu who everyone considered a shoo-in. We saw differently in the political jujitsu and reported here in this column that neither Abubakar Audu nor anyone else would occupy the Lugard House in Lokoja; rather, anyone from Ebira Land would govern the state in 2015. Since the Internet doesn't forget, lets turn the snooze as published here in this column on Wednesday September 30, 2015 inter-alia: - "MR. ABUBAKAR AUDU WILL NOT RETURN TO LUGARD HOUSE IN LOKOJA, KOGI STATEI have stated here in previous article through the Holy Spirit that the person that should become the governor of Kogi State is a dark political horse from Ebira Land. We disclosed that the person would coast home to victory if he had thrown his hat into the race in the forthcoming governorship election in Kogi State. Well, no person has so far come from Ebira Land among the contestants in the forthcoming governorship election in the confluence state. Many have called me on the phone, and many have written to me too that Mr. Abubakar Audu has won the APC primary and hence will return to Lugard Government House in Lokoja. I maintained in my earlier piece that Mr. Audu will lose the election, if fielded by the APC. I haven't seen anything contrary to what the Spirit is saying. At the last minute, the APC should hold a meeting to withdraw Audu's name as its flag bearer in the forthcoming governorship election in Kogi State. If eventually the APC sticks to its gun and go ahead with Audu, the status quo will remain. In other words, in the absence of a candidate from Ebira Land and in the presence of Mr. Audu flying the APC flag, Gov Wada will return for his second and final term as Governor of Kogi State in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Kogi State." As they say, the rest is history.
The next governor of Ekiti State that will succeed outgoing Gov Kayode Fayemi will come from Ekiti South as my prophecy declares. The person doesn't have to rely on his political affiliation, because a paradigm shift is in the offing this year 2022, so I say present to us a candidate from the South Senatorial District of the state and we will take his or her name to the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit will give us directives on what to do to install the person as the next governor of the Land of Honor and Integrity.
ENUGU: First thing first, the ruling party in 2023 will retain this state and thus a PDP Candidate is surefooted to succeed Gov Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi in 2023. Mr. "Eze Gburugburu" will appear on the national scene to play a vital role, if he wants and he will also play a veritable role on who succeeds him in 2023. Who will govern the Coal City State in 2023 is yet to appear in the spiritual realm? When he or she does, we will telegraph it as its our tradition in this column.
We shall continue next week "ceteris paribus" with the remaining states in the Nigeria federation.
HERE GOES A GOOD FIGHTER TO THE END: EVANGELIST EMMANUEL OMOBAJESU
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing" ---(2 Timothy 4:7-8).
All of us will die either at the appointed time allocated for us by the Creator Lord God Almighty or by the stupidity and idiocy of some human beings to exit before their time. But no matter the reason(s) for our exit, we all have a date with Death. Consequently, what should be of concern to us as humans is not whether we will die; that is inevitable; but where we are going after death? It is a matter you and I should settle right here on earth and now! There are only two places that we all go to after death: heaven or earth, period!
There is no debating or denying this eternal reality. The human soul lives forever and so no human being will dissolve into oblivion after you take your bow from this realm. The True Lord God Almighty created us in His Image and Likeness and thus as He lives forever so you and me. According to the inerrant Word of God, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" (Hebrews 9:27). A day has been appointed by the Creator Himself called "the Day" that every human being shall appear individually before the Judgment Throne of the King of kings, Who is our Lord Jesus Christ, because; " the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, " (John 5:22). Consequently, in the foreseeable future, whether you are alive or dead, a time will come you will have appointment before and with the Lord Jesus Christ. Trust me, you will meet this Jesus Christ, the Judge in the Street of Time. It was in this realization that I cannot escape my inevitable meeting with my Creator to render account of my earthly stewardship that made me to give my life to the Lord Jesus Christ about 30 years ago and I have not looked back ever since. Yes, and verily and verily, Jesus Christ is my Lord, Master and Savior Jesus Christ, Hallelujah!

Evangelist Emmanuel OmoobaJesu went to be with Lord penultimate week after he finished his race according to the Manual of Life: "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." (Hebrews 12:1-3).
In my Christian Journey so far, three forerunners have greatly influenced my eternal destination in addition to the Holy Bible. Of course, my physical encounter with my Lord, Master and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday February 21, 1997, at the dungeon of the DMI, Apapa Lagos Nigeria was my Pauline Damascene Encounter and the game-changer. But in our individual Christian Life Journey to eternal life which is our permanent home; Christ's children, believers and followers in Paradise and all none-believers and Christ's scorners and rejecters in Hell fire, the works of these three fellow brethren, and co-believers and their works have assisted me significantly in my eternal destination to "continuing to work out my salvation with fear and trembling" (Philippians 2:12c). They are the Chinese apologist and author, Watchman Nee whose trilogy and oeuvre spiritually transformed my life; the fellow American author based in Indiana and later South Africa; Rebecca Brown, and Nigerian-born Evangelist Emmanuel Omooba Jesu. Rebecca Brown, the Oncologist is still much around but Nee and Omooba Jesus have gone home.
This world is not our own as Christ followers and worshippers and as pilgrims on this temporary realm, we know that the mainstream media and press will not pay attention to us, even reporting our exit. As the Word of Life aptly pointed out: "We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one" (1 John 5:19). No wonder, his exit to eternity was not considered newsworthy by the mainstream media either in his native Nigeria or here in the United States. I am not surprised considering the enormous exploits this genuine man of God for Christ here in the United States where he toured virtually all major US cities professing his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ Who is forever to be praised, Hallelujah! His oeuvre has collectively sold more than 10miilion copies worldwide and his videos are as far-reaching as the earth in several human languages. Yet, the mainstream media of the world will not celebrate him, and we are not taken aback the least, because "If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you" (John 15:19). I won't be surprised too that when it is my time to exit, the world will not pay attention, because I do not belong to this world, but to my Lord, Master and Savior Jesus Christ. Rest on Papa Emmanuel OmoobaJesu in the Bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ Whom you served faithfully to the end. Please be around to welcome me and numerous of us that will join you in our eternal home in the future, Amen!

WAR IS TERRIBLE! THINK AGAIN. BETTER TO TALK THAN WAR-WAR
 |
The heart-wrenching stories and pictures that dot the global mediascape coming out of the South-Asian nation of Afghanistan are assaults on our collective consciousness as human beings. The precipitous withdrawal of the United States after two decades of occupation are eyesores to the rest of the world that, when the chips are down, no foreign power, outsiders and organizations or otherness will come to develop your nation. Between September 11, 2001, when President George W. Bush invaded that nation and last week when President Joseph R. Biden withdrew our troops, the United States spent $2 trillion on the war against the Taliban. That staggering amount translates to $300million per day. If you divide that amount by head for the poor people of Afghanistan, that translates to $50,000. In the war, 2,300 US soldiers perished, 75,000 Afghan soldiers were massacred while 71,334 civilians died with many unaccounted for. As a matter of fact, the true costs of the war may never be known.
Many people became millionaires, toads of war who cashed in bigly like the runaway Ashraf Ghani who helped himself to unknown amount of the Green Backs. The military industrial complex also helped themselves handsomely while the poor, the women, young girls, the marginalized and the vulnerable are on their own. That is war! For those who are beating the drumbeats of war elsewhere, they should look no further of what awaits them. War is terrible. It is not a dinner party. Why can't people of the world understand and get it? Satan and his demons love and crave blood of human beings and are behind all the major wars in human history.
