e continue with our series on some of the most puzzling and misunderstood questions that agitate the minds of Christians this week. We took time-off from our series penultimate week to rebut the egregious claims of one Femi Aribisala, a local columnist for a local newspaper in Nigeria. The hoopla generated by his tendentious write-up on David versus Goliath was expected. As I had indicated in my reaction at the newspaper forum, I will not go beyond what the Holy Bible admonished us when reacting to un-biblical write-ups from half-knowledgeable pseudo-Christians who thrive on stirring up doubts in Christians, delight to sow dissensions, swim in controversies, cause divisions and introduce heresies as Titus 3: 10 commanded: "Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them." This I have done twice to Mr. Aribisala after I called him out on his un-biblical write-ups on paying of tithes, his ignorant assertion that Apostle Paul wasn't inspired and the Pauline theses should be taken with circumspection and the last claim that King David did not kill Goliath. I will never join issues with him anymore, even though he has written a lot of nasty email to me in person which I believe was uncalled for. I am done with him, period. Femi Aribisala and I are not on popularity contest, certainly we are not wagering on who is a "better" Christian. The fact of the matter is that, when a supposed Christian columnist writes a lot of un-biblical things, those of us in the business of Christian exegeses should not watch, stand by and not point out the un-biblical assertions, because the eternal destination of thousands, if not millions of souls are at stake. So to reiterate once again, I have done what the Holy Spirit told me to do about Mr. Aribisala and this is the last write-up I will ever mention his name. For those who have sent email to me, I will publish their letters once and for all in this write-up, but will not entertain any other email on the man forthwith. The best we can do for him, folks is to continue to pray for him, period.
Similarly, we paused on this column last week to react to the new development in The Punch Newspapers which to me was a big deal. Many may not be aware of it, but the introduction of Copyright Caution on all stories published on the online version-e-Punch- is a revolutionary move with several implications for news manufacturing and news consumption. As I indicated I the write-up last week, very soon, that Copyright Caution will be put to test. The Internet and World Wide Web have undoubtedly changed the media world, and when other media organizations in Nigeria and other countries take their professional stand and resist being gobbled by these twin-barracudas, sanity will be restored to the news business. As I predicted in that piece last week, online news and free information being actively promoted by Google and allies may not last forever after all. Anon, and very anon, a more radical change to the media world is in the offing. Now back to the business of this week's column. We have examined some of the most pressing puzzles that Christians have grasped with in the Christian Walk and this week, another puzzling question along with those we have examined in this column in earlier write-ups is the issue of the Deity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Even some experienced born-again Christians are wrestling with the matter in their minds, while some have argued in some of the letters I have received, the Personality of our Lord Jesus Christ. A brother wrote that Jesus Christ was the Son of God Almighty, that is it and if He is the Son, He cannot simultaneously be God Himself. I want to show through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, 21 References in both the Old and New Testaments where the Lord Jesus Christ is God Almighty Himself.
First, you must understand from scriptures that God Almighty is Tripartite in His Personality: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and the Three are One. The Trinity doesn't say God is three but Three Distinct Personality n his Being and the Three Are One. If God Almighty is One Entity, then He cannot be God of Love. For love to be demonstrated and displayed it must involve more than one, hence God cannot be one entity. Again, I repeat, Trinity is not three separate beings but three distinct personalities in One Being. Do not scratch your head and have migraine on that. Let me explain. We human beings that God Almighty created in His likeness and image also have three personalities as well. In Genesis 1: 26, we read: "Then God said: "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." What does "us" mean in that scripture? Certainly "us" is more than one. The Lord God Almighty Who is God the Father called on God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in His Being and referred to them as "Us." Now two words: "likeness" and another word: "image" in Genesis 1: 27 were used by the Lord God Almighty to describe the personality of Man, the generic name for a group of species-you and I and male and female-that the earth was created and handed to. We are the only unique creatures of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit that shared the "likeness" and "image "of our Creator. We became three or tripartite beings according to Genesis 2: 7: "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, (man the fleshy body), and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life ;( man the spirit) and man became a living being (man the soul) (NKJV)." Just as God Almighty is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit and the Three are One; so also each human being is Man the spirit, man the soul and man the flesh. Here is an example; I Moshood-am a three part I one; Moshood, the spirit, Moshood, the soul and Moshood, the flesh and yet I am one. I can communicate with my spirit and that is what I am doing in this article right now. Many of my readers may never see me one-on-one yet I am communicating with them when you read my weekly articles here. Again, the same Moshood can speak to you on phone and you hear my voice, right? I am still the same person you are reading his articles here in my column. First, you read me; second, you talk to me on phone and hear my voice, and thirdly, you as a reader see me in flesh and blood, shake hands with me one day and talk to me one-on-one. The same me-Moshood-function in these three ways, yet one individual; all human beings are made this way. This is what is meant by "image" and "likeness" of God. It is impossible to delineate my word from my real self; neither can you separate my voice from him. Jesus Christ is the Voice-"Word" of God and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, but because God Almighty has no material flesh like us human beings, He came in the likeness of human being in Jesus Christ. Even a young child can understand this example. It is not complicated at all. Earlier on before Man was created, we read in Genesis 1: 1-3: "In the beginning God (God the Father) created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God (God the Spirit) was hovering over the waters. And God (God the Son) said, "Let there be light," and there was light." This is the Trinity right there for you. I harmony with scriptural congruence, Apostle John was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write in John1: 1-3: "In the beginning (of the creation of heavens and earth) was the Word (Jesus Christ), and the Word (Jesus Christ as the Voice of God, the Father) was with God, (God the Father) and the Word (again Jesus Christ) was God. He (referring again to Jesus Christ) was with God (here referring to God the Father) in the beginning (of creation of heaven and earth) Through him (here again referring to Jesus Christ as God's Voice or Word) all things were made; (yes, all things; heavens, earth, Satan, the demons, human beings, you and I, animals, birds, angels etc.)without him (yes, Jesus Christ) nothing was made that has been made." God, the Father could not create anything-yes anything-without saying anything out through His Word or Voice (God the Son, Jesus Christ) and that created thing cannot be sustained or established without God, the Spirit (Holy Spirit). Again, let's take another earthly example. Nothing I -Moshood-or any human being for that matter as a creature of God can accomplish as a spirit, if it is not said out or verbalized or authenticated by my or your peculiar signature. Consequently, in the matter of redemption, God, the Father purposed it; God, the Son (Jesus Christ) carried it out and right now, God, the Holy Spirit is applying it only in the lives of those human beings who accept this redemption work of fallen human race.
The second evidence of the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ was in Genesis 3: 15 after Adam and Eve fell: "And I (God the Father) will put enmity between you (Satan, the devil) and the woman, (referring to Eve) and between your offspring (referring to Satan and his fallen angels-demons as a collective) and hers ;( referring to the human race-you-and I) he (but referring to Jesus Christ on behalf of the whole human race as a collective) will crush your head,(Satan's head) and you (Satan) will strike his (referring to Jesus Christ, God the Son and His suffering on the Cross) heel." This uncanny biblical harmony sets this Manual of Life apart as the Greatest Book of God Almighty for saving sinful humanity. The Bible is indeed the Revealed Word of God. The King James Version rendered Genesis 3: 15 this way: "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." The word: "Seed" there was referring to Jesus Christ Who was to come thousands of years later to "bruise the head of the serpent" (that is Satan).
In Genesis 49: 9-11, Jacob, who became the nation Israel that the Seed referred to in Number 2 above would come to "bruise the head of the serpent…" (Genesis 3: 15, inspired by the Holy Spirit announced thousands of years before Jesus Christ, the Seed would come to accomplish what God the Father had said in Genesis 3: 15 "Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes." (Genesis 49: 9-11). The "scepter" in that 10th verse was referring to our Lord Jesus Christ. Read those three verses again and meditate on them; then you will understand why our Lord Jesus Christ is called the Lion of the Tribe of Judah in Revelation 5:5. God showed Jacob the coming of Jesus Christ thousands of years before His coming and Jacob prophesied it. Jesus Christ is that scepter and He descended from the tribe of Judah, hence He became the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Hallelujah!. This nullifies any argument of some Christians and those without the Holy Spirit that Jesus Christ was a prophet. The Levitical Priesthood was for the tribe of the Levites and not Judah as Apostle Paul dialectically explained in the Book of Hebrews
If the Lord God Almighty is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient, then it should not be inconceivable to believe that He can be in heaven, at the same time on earth and everywhere. He had demonstrated these three qualities when He physically came to the earth in Genesis 11:6-8. "The LORD said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other." So the LORD scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city." That was God the Son (Who became Jesus Christ, God in the flesh thousands of years later) speaking here. He called on God the Father and God the Holy Spirit as "come, let us…" Anywhere you see the word: "Lord" (not lord) in the Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelation, please knows it is referring to Jesus Christ. Anywhere you see; "Lord God" or "God Almighty" from Genesis to Revelation, it referred to God the Father and anywhere from Genesis to Revelation that you see the word: "Spirit" (not spirit), it referred to God the Holy Spirit. This is a rule in Biblical Exegeses. Did the Lord God leave the heavens down to the earth as He said in the verses above? Yes. What does come down mean? Again, do you see the word: "Us" there as in Genesis 1: 26: "Let us…"
When God, the Father appeared to Papa Abraham, He came down physically to the earth in Genesis 17: 1-3: "When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. Then I will make my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers. Abram fell facedown, and God said to him…" Do you see how God the Father introduced Himself to Papa Abraham here? He said He is the Lord God Almighty, that is; God the Father and God the Son in perfect harmony. This was a one-on-one encounter and not a dream, trance or vision. That was why Papa Abraham fell down on his face, because He could not dare look at the radiance of the Face of the Great One. When the Lord God Almighty was talking to Papa Abraham here, did it mean He took a vacation temporarily from His Majestic Seat in heaven? Certainly not! Because He is Omnipresent-can be and is in all places all the time and at the same time and He is in all places -heaven and earth at the same time. Hallelujah! We shouldn't argue this verse at all, because in verse 22 of this encounter, we read that "Then He (Lord God Almighty) finished talking with him (Abraham), and God went up from Abraham." Do you read the expression: "went up" in that verse? He "went up" because "He came down." In theological interpretation, this unique Omnipresent attribute of the Lord God Almighty, which He exercises at His discretion to come down to the earth in His Glory is called "theophany." Here is the definition of the word: "theophany:" a manifestation of God to a human person.
The same "theophanic manifestation" taken from the Latin word: "theophania" was manifested by the Lord God Almighty when He came down to destroy the sinful Twin Cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Again, the Lord God Almighty came as Three Beings to Papa Abraham in Genesis 18:1-3: "The LORD appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground. He said, "If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by…" Papa Abraham would never bow to angels; neither would he ever bow to three human beings. Papa Abraham had had three previous great encounters with the Lord God Almighty before this one and so knew the form of God even when He appeared as three men. Again, do you see the three men here referring to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and hence the Trinity that we began this article with? In that chapter 18, the word "Lord" referring to the Lord Jesus Christ was used 14 times in one chapter alone. This wasn't referring to a human being folks; this was the Lord Jesus Christ. No wonder, when Jesus Christ came like a man in the New Testament, He told the religious leaders in John 8: 51-59. Just as most people are spiritually blind today like these Pharisees who took up stones to stone our Lord Jesus Christ-because the law said anyone who equated himself with God had blasphemed under the Mosaic Law and this must be stoned to death-including, lamentably some who say they are born-again Christians, Christ's Deity was being revealed here by Himself.
In Exodus 6:2-4, God Almighty disclosed that He was Triune from where we got the word; "Trinity" meaning "God -Three-in-One" when He told Moses: "God also said to Moses, "I am the LORD. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name the LORD I did not make myself known to them." This was not a quote from Moses, the writer of Exodus but the Logos or direct Words of God. In other words, Papa Abraham, Jacob and Isaac had one-on-one encounter with the Three Patriarchs as God the Father, now God the Father was the same speaking to Moses here, but this time as the Lord and they are One. No wonder when Jesus Christ came, He told His disciples in John 10:30: "I and the Father are one."
In Exodus 19: 9 the Lord also showed Himself physically to Moses and the children of Israel in the wilderness shortly after their deliverance from Egyptian thralldom. They heard His Voice but because of His awesomeness, the children of Israel could not stand His Majesty. No wonder when this Lord came as our Lord Jesus Christ in the New Testament, He told the Pharisees in John 8: 19: "Then they asked him, "Where is your father?" "You do not know me or my Father," Jesus replied. "If you knew me, you would know my Father also."
In Exodus 20: 1-6, the Lord declared that He was a jealous God and we should not venerate any Name or Person or thing more than Him. Does it stand to reason that if Jesus Christ were a distinct Personality from God in Trinity, all Christians are in trouble? We pray to the Lord God Almighty today through or in the Name of Lord Jesus Christ because the Two are One, period! If the Two are separate, then we would have made the Lord God Almighty jealous, but since the Two are One and the Same, we know we are perfectly in order. Even the angels, as Apostle Paul disclosed in Hebrew s were summoned to worship the Son. Read Hebrew 1: 13. "To which of the angels did God ever say, "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of God, that is, the Voice of God, the Father. It means, God Almighty cannot create anything without saying those things to be from nothing to something. As the Psalmist said in Psalm 33: 6 & 9: "By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm." Consequently, anywhere you read in the Bible that says: "God said…" it is referring to our Lord Jesus Christ, the Word of God. There are 455 places in the Holy Bible NIV where the Lord God Almighty spoke directly in what we referred to as "loyos" that is, direct Words coming out of the Lord God. In King James Version, it appeared 573 times; in the Amplified Bible (ABV); 584 times, while in the American Standard Version (ASV), it appeared 536 times and in the Revised Standard Version (RSV), it appeared 614 times. All those instances are both God the Father and God the Son speaking in Deistic Harmony. Those instances are enough alone to spiritually prove that God the Father and God the Son are One. No wonder when God the Son came to the earth physically as Jesus Christ to reveal God the Father to us, He said; "The Father and I are One."
BUT JESUS CHRIST NEVER FOR ONCE SAID HE WAS GOD IN THE BIBLE
Many non-Christians and even Christians who have not read the Holy Bible thoroughly have made the tongue-in-cheek statements that, Jesus Christ never at any time refer to Himself as God or made Himself God Almighty. Really? Well, let's draw out the remaining 11 Bible References right from the Mouth of Our Lord Jesus Christ where He told us about His Deity and Co-Equality with God the Father.
The Lord Jesus Christ said emphatically in John 10: 30: "I and the Father are one." There is no mincing those words. You either believe it or not, period1
In John 14: 8-9, the Lord Jesus Christ said it openly and emphatically "Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father and it is sufficient for us" Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father so how can you say, "Show us the Father."
In John 17:11, our Lord Jesus Christ prayed the greatest and most powerful prayer in the entire Bible when He prayed: "Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as we are one." There is no way to sugar-coat or analyze these words; God the Father and God the Son are One.
In John 17:22, our Lord Jesus Christ continued with His prayer for us whe He prayed: "And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one" (again, God the Father and God the Son-Jesus Christ-are one).
In John 11:4, our Lord Jesus Christ said: "When he heard this, Jesus said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it." Here our Lord Jesus Christ called Himself the Son of God, the Father and explained that when the Father is glorified, then the Son too is automatically glorified. If Jesus Christ as God the Son is independent from God the Father and we know the Father said He is a jealous God, then we will make Him to be jealous f we equated Him with the Son. But since both are one and same, there is no jealousy whatsoever.
In John 14: 6, Jesus Christ said "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Way to where? Genesis 3:24 answered this way: "After he (the Lord God) drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life." The Son is the way to the three of life. Which truth? Pontus Pilate asked Jesus Christ the same question but the Lord ignored Pontus Pilate, but Jesus Christ had earlier on answered the question while praying for us His believers, worshippers and followers in John 17: 17 ""Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth." Forget about political correctness and the world of moral relativism in our post-modern world. There is only one truth and that truth is contained in the Holy Bible. Candidly, all other so-called truth out there outside the Holy Bible cannot be guaranteed and vouched for, thus the Word of God is Jesus and the Written Word which is the Holy Bible is the Truth and both are one.
In John 5: 25-28, Jesus said: "Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man. Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice…" Do you read the equality Jesus Christ made with God in those verses? No angel and no creature can give life to another fellow creature, only God and Jesus Christ was God in the flesh, period!
Our Lord Jesus Christ had this revealing conversation with the Pharisees in John 8: 57-58 "So the Jews said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?" Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am." Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple." Can you imagine an angel claiming to be greater than the Patriarch or a human being? Jesus Christ was reiterating His Deity to those Jewish leaders but just as many human beings on earth today are spiritually blind, the Jewish Pharisiac leaders are dull too. Compare those assertions above made by our Lord Jesus Christ with what He had earlier said to Moses in Exodus 3: 14: "God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'"
In The Sychar Discourse recorded in John 4, the Samaritan woman knew and was expecting the coming Messiah. By the way, the Samaritans were also Jews living in defunct Northern Israel with administrative capital of Samaria, hence the normative noun; Samaritan. She told our Lord Jesus Christ in John 4: 25:"The woman said, "I know that Messiah" (called Christ) "is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us." Our Lord Jesus Christ told her plainly in John 4: 26: "Then Jesus declared, "I, the one speaking to you-I am he." If you want to know the layman's meaning of the word: "Messiah," you only need to read the second to the last verse in the Old Testament in Malachi 4: 5 which announced the coming of Jesus Christ referred to as the Lord here thus: "See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes."
In Revelation 1: 17-20, our Lord Jesus Christ revealed His Deity when He said: "When I saw him (Jesus Christ in His Glory), I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he (Jesus Christ) placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. "Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later. The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches."
Finally, in Revelation 3: 20-22, Jesus Christ said: "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches?" No angel, certainly not a fellow human being like you and I can sit down with God the Father on His Throne, except the One who is the Lord God.
We can go on and one in this article, but for space constraint on many statements of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible about His Deity and equality with God the Father. We are not talking about what other prophets and apostles said about Him but statements made by Him directly from His mouth. So when next someone asks you; where in the Holy Bible did Jesus Christ claim to be God, answer with these 11 references. If you want more, ask us. Even Satan and his demons didn't deny the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. "Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are-the Holy One of God!" the demons shouted in Luke 4: 34. You want more?
FROM MY MAIL BAG THIS WEEK:
Dear Brother Moshood, In your feature article in Nigeriaworld.com titled "Death is a spirit," of Monday, June 10, 2013.... Paragraph 2 ...beginning from Friday February 14 and Friday 21, 2013..... The date should be 1997 instead of 2013. It was a typographical error - wasn't it? What year was your first encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ? My apologies if Friday 21, 2013 written above was correct."---Mathew Ashade, North-East England.
Dear Brother Mathew Ashade,
Yes, you were correct; it should have been Friday February 14 to February 21, 1997. I gave my life to the Lord at the University of Lagos in 1986 while I was the president of the University of Lagos Students Union (ULSU), but I got the Holy Spirit on Friday, February 14, 1997 at Cotonou, Republic of Benin when I was in self-exile and was enrolled as a Bible student at the Word of Faith Bible Institute. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Remain Blessed in the Mighty Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thanks Dr Fayemiwo for your thoughtful write up and response to the write up by Mr. Adun. There is even a bigger and deceitful writer, given a huge platform on Vanguard that some of us have tried to engage in the past few weeks. God bless and more grease to your elbow---Ayo Adetola, Ottawa, Canada
Thanks. I will use your letter in my column next week and also comment on Femi Aribisal's case as well. Remain Blessed in the Mighty Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thanks for setting the record straight .I have been monitoring this man's comments; I conclude he might be one of the false teachers of end time. Thanks---Pastor Ikechi Amaechi, Nigeria.
Thank you very much
My Dear Pastor Moshood, I do not know why this time, but I`m so glad with everything that I have read so far. Keep it up, and may God rest His mighty hand upon you in Jesus name, Amen---Evangelist Ibeawuchi Vincent Aja, 70 SU Casa Chikitu Willemstad Curacao (Netherlands Antilles).
Thank you my fellow worker in His vineyard. God's blessing to you and your loved ones too.
Thanks for the home delivery message, I do appreciate, more anointing and grace upon you in Jesus Christ name. Take care and remain blessed. Regards---Olalekan Bolarinwa, Osun State Western Nigeria.
Hello Prof. I just want to say thank you for educating that confused Mr. Aribisala. I read some of your articles, because of its spiritual uplifting and educative contents. Thanks again. Keep the columns flowing---Professor Adewunmi Olubunmi Francis, Oakland, California, USA.
Thank you my brother.
Dear Dr. Fayemiwo, Thanks for your write-up about Femi Aribisala, but your insults, and humiliations on him, destroyed what you wanted to say. It also put me off, for you are expected to write in respect of anyone. Thanks---Leonard Onwumere, Nigeria.
Dear Brother Onwumere, I didn't mean to but was just fired up by the Holy Spirit. Yes, I came too hard on him and I felt he deserved it. Sorry if I put you off. I hope you have not abandoned your faith because of that? Thanks.
Well done my brother Doc. Thank God for His anointing upon your life. That was a good and deserved exposure/disgrace for 'prophet of doom' Aribisala and co. Ride on my dear brother in Christ. Cheers and God bless--- Sister Taiwo Munis - Atlanta, GA, USA.
Thank you my sister-in-the Lord. I hope you will join me in praying for Mr. Aribisla and co.
WORLD PROPHECY: This is huge! Something of global importance, an earth-shattering event and a cosmic occurrence is in the offing in the world. I don't know what it is but the Holy Bible has predicted it and we shall all see it with our very eyes soon. This event is part of end-time prophecy and it's about to take place very, very soon in the next 12 to 24 months. I don't know what it is; I repeat again, I wasn't shown what it is but again, it's HUGE. The whole world will be shocked; from the rising of the sun to the setting of the sun; from the East to the West; from the South to the North, the planet earth is about to witness a catastrophic event. The Divine Hand of God Almighty, the Creator of the heavens and the universe, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is about to intervene in the affairs of humanity. The world media, the commentariat, the scientists, the astrologers, the men and women of earthly wisdom and their ilk will be talking their heads out but will not be able to explain but those who know the True God will be unshaken and unperturbed. What is it? I wasn't shown but was only told (Luke 21:11 & 25).
I have been repeating the above prophetic words almost a year since this column debuted and as events unfold around the world, I will not comment on the unfolding drama in Syria. Also in the news is the current rapprochement between Washington DC and Tehran. The other day, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with President Obama on the new tune being sung by the Ayatollahs of Iran on the sanctions crippling their nation. We will not comment on the recent U.S. Government shut-down too. Again, let's keep our fingers crossed as events play out in the most volatile areas of the world, but one thing is certain, biblical prophecies are being fulfilled right before our eyes.
