t is as bizarre and uncannily befuddling as it is otherworldly true. It is not a reality show. There is a brave and an outspoken Nigerian of Yoruba ethnic stock that has been languishing in prison in London for some time now and nothing, absolutely nothing has been done by the Nigerian Government to wade into his ordeal. He is Mr. Adeyinka Shoyemi, the self-proclaimed president, Young Yoruba for Freedom-YYF- a separatist and London-based fissiparous organization championing the cause of Yoruba irredentism. The YYF has its motto and objective a Yoruba ethnic nationalist and conservative political movement championing the cause of Yoruba youth worldwide.
His rise to prominence and klieg light burnished by the social media occurred simultaneously with the emergence of the Sunday Igboho Phenomenon. While Shoyemi concentrated his Yoruba nationalism on the London axis steering up the youths especially in the Diaspora to what he considered the marginalization of his ethnic stock in the scheme of things during the Buhari administration, on the other hand Igboho was at the thick of his own agitation on the home front which forced him into exile in neighboring Benin Republic. With the ascendancy of the Tinubu administration in 2023, the call for political restructuring and ethnic marginalization has somehow muted and in muffled tones. Sunday Igboho has returned home a free man and was even welcomed at 10 Downing Street to submit a petition to Prime Minister Keir Starmer of Britain in continuation of his agitation for political restructuring and Yoruba political autonomy. But Adeyinka Shoyemi has been unfortunate. He is holed up in London prison and there are many versions to his incarceration. First, it was alleged that Mr. Shoyemi is a hateful monger who is spearheading the mass killing of non-Yoruba ethnic stock in Great Britain. Under British Law, hate crimes are equivalent to terrorist acts. Consequently, the UK Scotland Yard Counter Terrorism Command invaded his home on August 6, 2019. According to documents made available to The Christian Walk, the search on Mr. Shoyemi's house was granted by a Judge of the Westminster Court. He was questioned for nine hours and the only allegation against him was his supposedly anti-Igbo broadcast on his social media platforms. In his defense, he argued that he was merely expressing his right to freedom of speech and fundamental right as a global citizen and UK resident. Besides, if his broadcasts were considered anti-Igbo and hateful,, the social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram which enabled him to reach his worldwide audiences would have taken him off the air since they all have their internal regulatory guidelines against hate speech and terrorist threats as being alleged. The Christian Walk conducted checks on social media platforms and found no evidence of anti-Igbo threats and terrorist attacks allegations brought against Mr. Shoyemi. Although there are books authored by him which contained some allegations against some Ibos living in Yoruba Land in Western Nigeria which could not be termed as calling for the death and extermination of the Ibos in Nigeria. Often times, there is a blurry line between freedom of speech/expression guaranteed by democratic nations, including the UK and terrorist threats.
Mr. Adeyinka Shoyemi should be deported back to Nigeria rather being held in London jail.

Consequently, Mr. Shoyemi denied the charges against him by the London Metropolitan Police and was let go but slapped with the following bail conditions; a gag order on using the Internet; banned from expressing his views and opinions on all social media, including YouTube, posting on Facebook, and was ordered to steer clear of posting any editorial on the website of Young Yoruba for Freedom-YYF. In essence, Mr. Shoyemi was effectively being taken off the cyber world. For an activist, a prolific writer, and a social media influencer with many followers around the world, this was a death knell. But this bizarre story has several twists as one became curious as to the level of interests shown by the British Government on contumacious separatist agitations in Nigeria. Why is the British Government suppressing agitations and calls for political restructuring in Nigeria, considering the fact Nigeria is a former British colony? Is Mr. Adeyinka Shoyemi being hounded by the British intelligence agency for other ulterior motives? According to investigations conducted by The Christian Walk in London, there are some clandestine and surreptitious issues that meet the eye than the allegation of cyber bullying, terrorist threats and Igbophobia being leveled against Mr. Shoyemi. Now that you have accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord, Master, and Savior Jesus Christ which He truly is, you need to saturate yourself with the Word of God so you can grow in your new faith. You need to change and renew your mind with the Words of God which are contained in the Greatest Book on earth given to humanity as a compass to navigate our paths in this Satanically-controlled and demon-infested earth following the fall of our First Parents in the Garden of Eden. That Book is the Holy Bible. The three basic reason for this is that the secular education has been totally corrupted by Satan hence, the Holy Spirit commanded us in Romans 12: 2:" Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing, and perfect will." You can't discover His Will for your life now that you are one of His Own until you read His Word. Second, there is a spiritual war afoot and in the not-too-distant Time Street over your life now that you are a child of the King. Satan and his demons, including their human agents will fight to bring you back to their cursed and darkened kingdom. You need to know how to fight through the deployment of the Word of God, because from now onward, "… our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." (Ephesians 6:12-17). Thirdly, you need the Word of God for good success according to Joshua 1:8: "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."
