ON AMERICA DECIDES 2024: ANOTHER VIEW
Question: Are liberals ready for us MAGA Republicans to re-take this nation in 2024? We are going to pass so many laws restricting them that their heads will explode.
Answer: I am going to do something I never do on Quora. I'm going to turn off my filter and speak directly to you in a manner you're not going to like. You deserve to understand the truth and I'm just going to shatter your safe little snowflake bubble of the right wing.
MAGA will not be able take over. Ever. If you think they will you're a fucking gullible moron. Here are some solid facts. Your average MAGA voter is white, male, retired, over the age of 65, living in a low population density area, with a minimal education, and making below $45,000 a year from all sources and Christian. They also are fearful of anything different from themselves and are unable to accept living in a broader world where homogeneity doesn't exist. Fun fact most MAGA voters are in high elder mortality states. This means that the life expectancy of the average MAGA voter is about 10 years from now give or take a bit. That means MAGA voters are also dying at faster rate than the rest of the population. My generation is more liberal and significantly less conservative than my parents' generation. This is because we have lived through enough of the conservative bullshit throughout our lives to see it doesn't work. The generation after mine is even more liberal. We also have a greater worldview on policies that work for us rather than harm us because we're able to see them in action in other nations. We're supposed to be a beacon to the world and we consistently fail at taking care of our own citizens. That is one of the reasons my generation is so liberal.
The greater world, you know the rest of the world that isn't an autocratic oligarchy, views MAGA voters as idiotic, at best, and a clear and present danger to be completely honest in most instances. Your policies are about harming yourself in a best case scenario and the destruction of America as a world power at worst. My friends in Europe, Asia, Canada, Australia and Africa are concerned enough to say that if another dumbass like Trump takes office as president that it will be the end of the United States not just as world power but as a nation. We'd see the fall of Rome in real time because of the pax Americana, for lack of a better description, that would end with the dissolution of the United States. I'm going to end this with a comment you're really not going to like but it's the truth. Once your generation dies out we can finally start making progress towards attaining the same rights and freedoms the majority of the world enjoys and has for decades rather than regressing to the Jim Crow era and the placement of women as a lower class of human. I've known people who survived the Holocaust. I've known people who watched the Nazis come to power. Your anger at anything different from yourself is remarkably similar to what they describe. What you need is some fucking help. Go get it. It's available and Medicare covers it until the Republicans destroy Medicare. Then it will likely be far too expensive to do you any good. Now that you have accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord, Master, and Savior Jesus Christ which He truly is, you need to saturate yourself with the Word of God so you can grow in your new faith. You need to change and renew your mind with the Words of God which are contained in the Greatest Book on earth given to humanity as a compass to navigate our paths in this Satanically-controlled and demon-infested earth following the fall of our First Parents in the Garden of Eden. That Book is the Holy Bible. The three basic reason for this is that the secular education has been totally corrupted by Satan hence, the Holy Spirit commanded us in Romans 12: 2:" Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing, and perfect will." You can't discover His Will for your life now that you are one of His Own until you read His Word. Second, there is a spiritual war afoot and in the not-too-distant Time Street over your life now that you are a child of the King. Satan and his demons, including their human agents will fight to bring you back to their cursed and darkened kingdom. You need to know how to fight through the deployment of the Word of God, because from now onward, "… our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." (Ephesians 6:12-17). Thirdly, you need the Word of God for good success according to Joshua 1:8: "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."
