y Lord, Master and Savior Jesus Christ is the Creator of all things. He is not a prophet as some of you are being deceived. He is more than a Good Man. He is the Lord God Almighty Himself in human flesh as the Holy Bible says: "Behold, the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel" (which means, "God with us" (Matthew 1:23). Joseph, the surrogate earthly father of the King of kings was informed by Angel Gabriel: "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to embrace Mary as your wife, for the One conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the Name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins" (Matthew 1:20-21). Mary herself was told by Angel Gabriel: "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So, the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God" (Luke 1:35). John the Baptist, the Forerunner and Herald of the Lord Jesus Christ bore testimony of the Lordship of our Lord, Master, and Savior thus: "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! This is He of whom I said, 'A man who comes after me has surpassed me because He was before me.' I myself did not know Him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that He might be revealed to Israel." Then John testified, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove and resting on Him. I myself did not know Him, but the One who sent me to baptize with water told me, 'The man on whom you see the Spirit descend and rest is He who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.' I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God" (John 1:29-34). John, one of His ardent and most beloved Disciples educated us about the Alpha and Omega that; "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1).

Our Lord Jesus Christ disclosed His Identity as the Ancient of Days and the Lord Creator Himself in human flesh to the Jewish Rabbi, Nicodemus who came stealthy to see Him: "No one has ascended into heaven except the One who descended from heaven-the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the Light and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever practices the truth comes into the Light, so that it may be seen clearly that what he has done has been accomplished in God" (John 3:13-21).

Our Lord Jesus Christ told the Pharisees plainly: "Jesus answered, "If I glorify Myself, My glory means nothing. The One who glorifies Me is My Father, of whom you say, 'He is our God.' You do not know Him, but I know Him. If I said I did not know Him, I would be a liar like you. But I do know Him, and I keep His word. your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see My day. He saw it and was glad." Then the Jews said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and You have seen Abraham?" "Truly, truly, I tell you," Jesus declared, "before Abraham was born, I am!" (John 8:54-58)

Our Lord Jesus Christ told the Sadducees truly as it could get thus: "Then He told them, "You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. That is why I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am He, you will indeed die in your sins" (John 8:23-24). To His Disciples and any of them in doubt of His Deity, He nailed it down through and through: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you, I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works." (John 14:9-10). Apostle Paul referred to our Lord Jesus Christ as: "…the Image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation" (Colossians 1:15) and "…the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word" (Hebrews 1:3). This my Lord, Master, and Savior Jesus that you hate and do not want to have anything to do with right here now while alive told you and me thus: "The Father judges no one, but has assigned all judgment to the Son, so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life. (John 5:22-24) If you are still not convinced with this plethora of convincing proofs and evidence of Jesus Christ as God Himself, then take your doubt and unbelief to your grave and brace your eternal consequences on the Other Side. As for us, we have made up our minds already and have the conniving guarantee of the Holy Spirit that has been given to us as genuine believers that Jesus Christ can and would never lie about His Deity. Consequently, Power, Honor and Glory uniquely belong to Him, Hallelujah!

HOW AND WHY SHOULD WE HONOR, GLORIFY AND WORSHIP THE LORD JESUS CHRIST? We often confuse glory and worship altogether as if both are the same, like respect and honor; yet, in the revealed Words of the True Lord God Almighty, both are not the same in practical absolute terms. What is Glory? It is the reverence we give to the Lord Jesus Christ for Who He is. Worship on the other hand is the reverence accorded to our Lord, Master, and Savior Jesus Christ for what He has done in our life. We glorify Him because He is the Creator, the Maker of all things, the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End, the Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent, the I AM THAT I AM, the Jehovah Jireh, the Jehovah Rapha, the El-Shaddai, the Lord of lords and the King of kings, the Immanuel God with us, and all other attributes that are uniquely and onerously His, Hallelujah! These attributes and qualities cannot, can never and should never be given to any being whoever and wherever that being, be it Satan, fallen angels, demons, principalities, and their human minions, never. This Lord Jesus Christ warned us as His created beings this way: "I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols" (Isaiah 42:8; See also Exodus 20:1-5; Psalm 83:18). This is the genesis of the current spiritual warfare we are all engaged in right from the Garden of Eden to date. You are a part of this intense warfare, whether you are a believer or an unbeliever, it doesn't matter because as long as you are a human being.

On the other hand, worship is the practical demonstration on who you believe is the One to Glorify? We have itemized the unique attributes and qualities of our Lord Jesus Christ that He said He is jealous about and will share them with no one. Now, worship is that affirmation or disapproval of those attributes and qualities. We worship Jesus Christ as our Lord, Master, and Savior because He is truly, sincerely, and manifestly my Lord, Master, and Savior. He is my Lord, because He created me as He told me on Friday February 21, 1997, at the dungeon of the Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI), Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria (See when and how He spoke to me here: ( ). Since that Voice, no other voice has spoken to me contrary to His Voice 25 years after. We take Jesus Christ as our Master, because He freed us from Satan who is the god of sin, rebellion, and disobedience, for "…everyone who sins is a slave to sin. A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So, if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:34-36). Jesus Christ shed His Blood on Calvary and "… gave Himself as a ransom" (I Timothy 2:6) for me and the whole world that were kidnapped by Satan as a result of the disobedience of our First Parents; Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden which necessitated the Lord Jesus Christ to drive them out of that Beautiful Abode. Jesus Christ brought me- and others who believe in Him-back to that Edenic Ambience through His Sacrificial Death on Calvary and Resurrection. That is why me and billions around the world worship this Jesus Christ as Savior, because He is Good, Kind, Loving, Gracious, Beautiful, Caring, Merciful, Most Powerful, Miraculous, Wonderful, Fantastic, and Praiseworthy, Hallelujah!

Here now are the seven ways we honor, glorify, and worship our Lord, Master, and Savior Jesus Christ in addition to the seven we listed last week. First, set aside at least 2 hours, 40 minutes daily to talk, commune and fellowship with Him. Second, cultivate the habit of kneeling down with your head bowed and nose to the ground, because He is a Mighty and Powerful King. I do so three times daily. After all, many of you do that prostrating with your belly to the ground each time you go to your earthly kings called Obas, Emirs and Obi in their palaces. He is more than gazillions of those Obas, Emirs, Sultans, Obis all put together. In the highest of heavens where He sits on Majesty High on His Throne; "…Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him Who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives for ever and ever…" (Revelation 4:9-10). If you say you are going to heaven which is His House Above All and you really mean it, you better start putting this heavenly culture into practice right now here on earth, otherwise, you may not be able to fit into His Abode. Third, sing and rejoice each time you come before His Presence. There is no dull moment before His Majesty. Do you see how those courtiers outdo themselves to welcome you into the palaces of your earthly kings? Where do you think they got the idea from in this first place? A sad soul is an anathema before the True Lord Jesus Christ, the Owner of the heavens. No wonder Paul told us and reiterated it nth time thus: "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!" (Philippians 4:4; "Rejoice at all times" (I Thessalonians 5:16). The Psalmist exulted thus before His Majesty: "Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous; befitting is the praise of the upright" (Psalm 33:1). The earthly kings and prophets of old knew the potent power of praise and songs and thus declared: "…I will rejoice in the God of my salvation!" (Habakkuk 3:18). King David, the chief of them all exhorted us in all our worship to; "Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders" (I Chronicles 16:9). Daniel and the Three Musketeers of Faith exulted and gave Him "…thanks and praise…" (Daniel 2:23) and many more. Fourth, worship Him because He is our deliverer, both physical and spiritual. Who could have freed me from the bowels of late Sani Abacha's Gulag in the 1990s but this Good and Wonderful Lord Jesus Christ? Everyone thought I was dead, and truly I was indeed "dead," but He and He Alone and Only brought me back from the "grave." He did the same nearly two thousand years ago: "About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone's chains came loose" (Acts 16:25-26). I pray and rejoice before Him because He set me free.

Fifth, His Majesty, Jesus Christ, the Lord of lords and King of kings must be venerated and worshiped, because of His love and goodness. He is the Only One we can put our hope in the now and in the hereafter, because He is the Way, the Only Way to eternal life, period! "Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior, and my God" (Psalm 42:11). We kneel before Him, because He saved us from the shackles of Satan, the oppressor and his malevolent demons who take pleasure in tormenting and seeing human beings suffer (Psalm 95:6, Romans 14:11). Sixth, this Good Shepherd and Savior is the Only One to worship, because He has shown, demonstrated, and proven over and over again His abiding and unfailing love for you and I as evinced by innumerable and uncountable testimonies of His Grace, Powers and Wonders as the Psalmist said: "Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what He has done. Sing to Him, sing praise to Him; tell of all His wonderful acts. Glory in his holy Name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always. Remember the wonders He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He pronounced, you His servants, the descendants of Abraham, His chosen ones, the children of Jacob. He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth…" (Psalm 105:1-45). Seventh and lastly, He commanded us His true, sincere, devoted, and devout believers to worship and revere Him in these seven ways so that our prayers, requests, supplications and petitions will be acceptable before Him; first, we should maintain justice; two, we should ensure fair play; third, we should have mercy toward the less privileged in our midst; fourth, we should help the poor; fifth, we should feed the hungry; sixth, we should maintain righteousness, and seventh, each of us should provide for your household and love your fellow human beings vide Isaiah 58:5-7: "Is this the fast I have chosen: a day for a man to deny himself, to bow his head like a reed, and to spread out sackcloth and ashes? Will you call this a fast and a day acceptable to the Lord? Isn't this the fast that I have chosen: to break the chains of wickedness, to untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and tear off every yoke? Isn't it to share your bread with the hungry, to bring the poor and homeless into your home, to clothe the naked when you see him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?"

If you say you are truly and truthfully religious, these are all that are expected of you in addition to giving your life to our Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Deliverer.

There is no other life to live apart from the life of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is our Creator, believe me. He is not a prophet, He is the Lord God Almighty Himself, because He said so in John 10:30; "I and the Father are one." Again, He said in John 14:9 thus: "

Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? There is plethora of Bible references for you to know that my Lord, Master, and Savior Jesus Christ is the Sovereign Lord God Almighty Himself. So, if you think you believe in God, you must give your life to our Lord Jesus Christ, because as He again declared to us in John 14:06: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

You can give your life to Jesus Christ now! Say this prayer now using Romans 10:9-10: "Jesus Christ, I come to You now with penitent heart and contrite spirit. I confess I am a sinner. I have been living my life the way I want, which is a rebellion against You. I know that nothing good resides in me. That is why I come to You today to forgive me of my sins and rebellion. I believe in my heart that You came to this world over 2,000 years ago. You were born by the Virgin Mary in the city of Bethlehem of Judea. You lived with us for 33 years and was sinless. Then, You went onto the Cross and died for my sins and sins of the world. Then You rose up again three days later after defeating Satan and the hordes of darkness in the nether gloom and today, you are holding the keys of death and hades in Your Hands. Jesus Christ, I confess You with my mouth as my Lord, Master, and Savior. Your Death on the Cross had paid the penalty for my sins and Your resurrection was for my justification. From today onward, I will obey, worship, and praise You. I will not live for my self-centered and egoistical life anymore. I will do what You want me to do. I will serve You for the remainder years of my life. I will tell others about You and witness to others about Your love and works of redemption and finished work on Calvary. Take me as Your Own. Seal me with the Holy Spirt. Enable me to do what You have created me for on this earth. Use me for Your Glory Jesus Christ and let me live my full life span. Let me fulfill my destiny and after I have accomplished the purpose for which You created me and sent me to this earthly temporary realm, I will return to You as the Shepherd of my spirit and soul reign with You in Your Kingdom for eternity in Your Holy Name, Amen."

It is done now. You are saved and are now a child of the Living God. He is your father from now onward. Pray that this Jesus Christ will direct you to a Holy Spirit-filled and Word-based Church in your neighborhood where you can join other believers to grow in your new faith from now on. Please be careful you do not keep company with your former friends and crowds so they will not draw you back to your former ways of life. Remember the Holy Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come The old has gone, the new is here!" Remember you confessed your sins to the Lord Jesus Christ, and He forgave you, because He cannot lie. Make sure you do not renege on our vows never to commit those sins again. Find a Bible believing Church and tell the pastor or shepherd there that you have just given your life to our Lord, Master and Savior Jesus Christ and you want him to walk you through walking the Christian Walk. Hallelujah! Tell him I sent you and if moved by the Holy Spirit to contact me, shoot me an email: Congratulations and welcome to the family of the Living God!

The heart-wrenching stories and pictures that dot the global mediascape coming out of the South-Asian nation of Afghanistan are assaults on our collective consciousness as human beings. The precipitous withdrawal of the United States after two decades of occupation are eyesores to the rest of the world that, when the chips are down, no foreign power, outsiders and organizations or otherness will come to develop your nation. Between September 11, 2001, when President George W. Bush invaded that nation and last week when President Joseph R. Biden withdrew our troops, the United States spent $2 trillion on the war against the Taliban. That staggering amount translates to $300million per day. If you divide that amount by head for the poor people of Afghanistan, that translates to $50,000. In the war, 2,300 US soldiers perished, 75,000 Afghan soldiers were massacred while 71,334 civilians died with many unaccounted for. As a matter of fact, the true costs of the war may never be known.

Many people became millionaires, toads of war who cashed in bigly like the runaway Ashraf Ghani who helped himself to unknown amount of the Green Backs. The military industrial complex also helped themselves handsomely while the poor, the women, young girls, the marginalized and the vulnerable are on their own. That is war! For those who are beating the drumbeats of war elsewhere, they should look no further of what awaits them. War is terrible. It is not a dinner party. Why can't people of the world understand and get it? Satan and his demons love and crave blood of human beings and are behind all the major wars in human history.
