I wrote his unauthorized biography so I am biased, but I will give my sincere apologies away. My friend, former governor and ex-minister Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola sponsored the biography and wrote the Foreword to the work but not much of the piece is in the marketplace these days. The chummy relationship between the duos later floundered and both are in separate tents today. As political events rev up to another election come 2027, the quadrennial exercise has gripped the entire nation. Will Bolanle Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu return for his second and final term as president? Does he deserve a re-election? Has he performed creditably in two years and going into his final two years of first term to deserve a renewal of his contract for four more years? I do not live inside Nigeria, but once a while when I breeze in to take care of one issue or the other, I can feel the pulse of the nation of my birth. Depending on how you view or assess the performance of any government, three basic necessities of life are the universally accepted indices to benchmark a good government: prices of foods, groceries, edibles and commodities; accessibility to cheap and affordable housing for the citizens and provision and availability of jobs and employment opportunities for people to trade their skills for wages and salaries to care for their families and pay their bills. All these reducibly dovetail to one thing: money.
What was the exchange rate of the Nigerian Naira when Bola Tinubu mounted the saddle 24 months ago and what is the rate of the local currency now to international currencies? Are goods and services cheaper or costlier and as we say here in the Old USA; Are you Nigerians better off now than you were 24 months ago? Are standard of living falling and poverty on the rise now than pre-Tinubu administration? Yes, it was bad under Buhari, but is it worse now under Tinubu? The henchmen and women in the Tinubu administration and those close to the corridors of power have access to freebies and the honchos can easily print more money to take care of themselves and their immediate families. The narrow-minded and ethnic chauvinists will also clap for the administration because "our man" is at the helm and whatever crumbs falling from the master's table will be enough to sustain us while professional politicians whose mantra is AGIP:- Any Government in Power- will easily blend and cross carpet to the ruling party to maintain their predatory instincts. With access to government funds, political jobbers and their professional ilk in the traditional Nigerian politics will be lured with pkomtopns for fealty loyalty. It is called the incumbency factor. There is also the ever menacing Komodo dragon known as the EFCC to whip everyone into line. In this Hobbesian world, it is the survival of the fittest. It is each one to him-herself and all of us to God. Here, life is nasty and brutish only to the masses and the marginalized poor who are left to fend for themselves and abandoned to device all manners of survival methods to stay alive. From distance, the torrid stories coming out of the nation are not salutary and encouraging at all and the leaders are more interested in serving their endless greed and perennial large appetites than the hackneyed cliché of serving my people. Funny enough, Nigeria is incredibly and prodigiously blessed. There is more than enough in that country to serve the needs of the generality of the Nigerian people, but what is sorely missing is the right leadership that will equitably and generously superintend over the allocation of these massive and humongous natural resources. The majority of Nigerians are not asking too much from their leaders. The minimum they expect from their leaders can easily be provided; cheap and affordable foods which the arable land can provide with the full commitment of the government at various levels. The United States of America and other nations have been able to accomplish this foremost responsibility of a thriving government. Everywhere on earth and in all climes, the basic and primary need of the citizens is affordable and available foods and groceries. Even here in the United States, the price of eggs is an election issue. In the UK and other European nations, prices of tea and milk are sometimes electioneering campaign issues. This is first and foremost the elementary duty of any responsible and responsive government. Make food cheaper and feed your people.
The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway awarded in March 2024 by the current Tinubu Administration is senseless and a misplacement of priority. That highway project estimated to cost between US$13bn and roughly translates to N18.6 trillion awarded to Hitech Construction Company owned by Seyi Tinubu, the president's son, Gilbert Chagoury and cronies of the president should not have been top priority of the current administration. If that ginormous amount was committed to the establishment of Farm Settlement Centers in the 774 LGAs of Nigeria and all members of the NYSC are deployed to those farms with 774 silos to boot, Nigeria will be shocked at how prices of foodstuffs, groceries, edibles and commodities will be affordable. This is not rocket science, but pure commonsense. There is too much politicking than serious governing going on in the land. This is sad and Nigeria will continue to grow but will not develop as long as those in charge do not think and apply commonsense to fix fundamental problems confronting the generality of Nigerians. A nation that spends half of its budget in the importation of foods and cannot feed its teeming masses should be dissolved. A government that cannot provide simple thing as drinkable water in homes for the citizens is not serving the people. It is a disgrace that more than 25 years after the military retired to the barracks and politicians are now in charge, sachet water and the likes are all that are available in the nation. This is sad! It is a national tragedy and shameful that Nigeria ranks 43rd position of 54 African nations in per capital income of US$807 under the Tinubu administration. The oxymoronic display of filthy wealth by the few and abject poverty of the populace in Nigeria is one of the most tragic eyesores in any Third World nation on earth.
I heard of the invincibility of President Bolanle Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu and his re-election in 2027 being a fait accompli. This is not true. No human being that is mortal is invincible, including Tinubu. He can be denied re-election in 2027 and I will disclose in this column next week what can be done to deny him a second term.
It is galling that 26 years after so-called return to democracy, successive Nigerian governments and leaders have not been able to provide stable, reliable, functioning and uninterrupted electricity to the nation despite billions of dollars sank into the power sector. How were nations like Ghana, Rwanda, South Africa and other African nations able to provide electricity to their citizens and Nigeria is still in darkness including the seat of power known as Aso Rock? The best scientific brains are in Nigeria and the nation through the bountiful blessings of God Almighty experiences 12 hours of sunshine almost 365 days a year and yet no government has thought of providing solar power to light the entire nation. How much does it cost to accomplish this remarkable feat for the citizens? Why commit N10bn to power Aso Rock via solar panels and not extend the same to the entire nation in form of rebates to homeowners and private organizations? It is the government that is in vantage position to jumpstart and spearheads this needed revolution if those in government are genuinely committed to serving the people. What happened to the mouthwatering contracts awarded by the Jonathan Administration for the installation of solar panels in the FCT in January 2014? Reports have it that the Chinese firm that was paid did half a job and absconded while the bulk of the contract money went into the private pockets of politicians. Why are Nigerian leaders so insensitive and uncaring?
The same Tinubu administration awarded another mouth-watering contract to same Hitech Construction Company owned by his son and his cronies for the construction of Badagry-Sokoto Coastal Highway. The amounts were undisclosed but they run into millions of American Dollars. Why all these white elephant projects when ordinary Nigerians cannot afford three square meals per day? Why the haste and hurry in awarding all these humongous contracts, especially to a company owned by your son in less than two years after becoming president? Unless you are coming from Mars, these are conduits to defraud the Nigerian people. Tinubu had been out of office for nearly 17 years when he governed Lagos State and during those years, he had ample opportunity to dissect the fundamental problems facing the citizens. So, what is happening now that he's fumbling and unable to confront those issues that he stridently attacked Obasanjo and Jonathan? So, what is the rationale behind the argle-bargle of "Emi Lokan" during the presidential electioneering campaign? Was it your turn to steal and line up your pockets with pilfered funds, enrich members of your families, your friends and hangers-on or it is your turn to change the way government works? What was all the huffy-puffy of 2023 by Bola Tinubu all about and the widest consultations with the Ogbontarigi , the Ulamas, the denizens of darkness and "egbe kini yi wa"? All these stolen money will not be taken out of this earth upon death. This brings us to the questions now in political circles and cyber space: should Bola Tinubu be allowed to return for a second term? Has he performed creditably and advanced the cause of the majority of Nigerians for the voters to reward him with a come-back? Can he be denied a second term in office come 2027? Is Bola Tinubu invincible? Is his re-election in 2027 a fait accompli?
I was told that Bolanle Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu was once a principality and through that he was able to become president. I should know, because I wrote his biography. But I read in the Holy Bible, the True and Authentic Word and Book of the True Lord God Almighty thus: "So Jesus told them, " Behold, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven." (Luke 10:19-20)..
Can President Bolanle Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu be denied a second term in 2027? Absolutely and easily too! Bola Ahmed can be unhorsed in the next presidential election spiritually because he got there supernaturally. He told Nigerians during the 2023 Presidential Election that he had gone to consult the "Ogbontarigi" and they gave him the demonic tagline of "Emilokan" in Ijebu-Ode which he gleefully announced in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Many Nigerians did not know or are still ignorant of those words. Since Tinubu came in via the supernatural, he can be removed spiritually. How?
TRIBUTE TO MY KINSMAN AYODELE GBAJUMO: (1960-2025)
The last time he called from Chicago, the first question I asked him was; "Ayo, I hope you have given your life to our Lord Jesus Christ?" He laughed at the other end and answered in the affirmative. We relived past moments together and he commended my Facebook Pages and YouTube Channel and we both expressed our sincere appreciations, thanks and heartfelt gratitude to our Lord, Master and Savior Jesus Christ we both served for all He has accomplished in our life for His Utmost. I still remember vividly it was his late father that came to fetch me and my half-brother in Benin City to Owo upon the death of my late father in 1980. When Ayo celebrated his birthday in January this year, I was not in town but sent him belated wishes upon my return to the United States. Ayo is gone, but he is not gone forever. For those of us who sincerely and thoroughly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, we know we shall meet again as He assured us: "Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11:25 & 26) Rest on brother! We shall meet again and remain together for eternity. Death is not the end of it for us born-again Christians.

Now that you have accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord, Master, and Savior Jesus Christ which He truly is, you need to saturate yourself with the Word of God so you can grow in your new faith. You need to change and renew your mind with the Words of God which are contained in the Greatest Book on earth given to humanity as a compass to navigate our paths in this Satanically-controlled and demon-infested earth following the fall of our First Parents in the Garden of Eden. That Book is the Holy Bible. The three basic reason for this is that the secular education has been totally corrupted by Satan hence, the Holy Spirit commanded us in Romans 12: 2:" Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing, and perfect will." You can't discover His Will for your life now that you are one of His Own until you read His Word. Second, there is a spiritual war afoot and in the not-too-distant Time Street over your life now that you are a child of the King. Satan and his demons, including their human agents will fight to bring you back to their cursed and darkened kingdom. You need to know how to fight through the deployment of the Word of God, because from now onward, "… our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." (Ephesians 6:12-17). Thirdly, you need the Word of God for good success according to Joshua 1:8: "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."
