"Then I saw a great white throne and the One seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from His presence, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. And there were open books, and one of them was the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their deeds, as recorded in the books. The sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead, and each one was judged according to his deeds. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death-the lake of fire. And if anyone was found whose name was not written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire" Revelation 20:11-15 (THE HOLY BIBLE).

saw Death. Yes Death, the implacable foe of the human race. It is a spirit, a fallen angel. I am not referring to its homonymous, but the Grim Reaper that sends awe and chills to the entire human race and the bete noire of us all since the fall of our First Parents. It was during my ordeal in the ogre hands of Nigeria's most reviled autocrat, the late Sani Abacha. I had been kidnapped from neighboring Republic of Benin by Abacha's local Tonton Macoute and kept at the dreary underground detention facility of the Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI), Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria. The Internet still remembers my ordeal even twenty-seven years when the True Lord God Almighty took me to my version of Paul's Damascene Experience. Here is the link as reported around the world in 1998:- My kidnap experience which was orchestrated by my Maker was reported by the United States Government this way: "Government detention practices cause many persons to be "missing" for extended periods. The only known case of a politically motivated disappearance was that of former Razor newspaper editor Moshood Fayemiwo, who spent 7 months in detention before escaping to neighboring Benin in September 1996. On February 14, Fayemiwo disappeared from the United Nations refugee camp where he had been living with his family. Mrs. Fayemiwo reported that her husband had been kidnaped by "unknown security agents," but reliable sources claim that he is being held incommunicado by Nigerian security services. The Government was asked repeatedly about the case by the media but did not acknowledge any involvement."

Exactly the way I saw the demon-god of Death at the Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI), Apapa, Lagos Nigeria in 1997 above; today this principality is worshipped as a god among Mexicans dating back to the pagan practices of pre-Columbian cultures of the Aztec, Mayan and Olmec civilizations but now incorporated into Roman Catholicism as Santa Muerte celebrated annually for three days from October 31-November 2 the same period unbelievers, witches and satanists celebrate another demonic festival called Halloween. It is sad, and disheartening that "… the whole world is under the control of the evil one," (I John 5:19) just as the Holy Bible says.

In addition to hearing the Voice of my Lord, Master, and Savior Jesus Christ which I refer to numerous times in this column, other visions out of several other was that of Death. As I laid down where I was chained to a pipe, I saw a huge and tall creature completely covered in darkness holding a club and following that weird spirit were three other fearsome creatures heading toward me. I shouted and asked hysterically: "My Lord, my Lord, what is this and who are these?" for I was completely out of my wits. The Lord Jesus Christ told me that the tallest, weird creature holding a club is Death and that club in his hand is known as its sting. "He has come for you, but I am here," said my Lord. This jells with the Words of God in the Holy Bible thus: "I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him…" (Revelation 6:8a). "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" (I Corinthians 15:55a). The Lord Jesus Christ explained to me that inside that sting which is the club in Death's hand is the particular sin being committed by the person that Death is coming to claim on earth, and it is poisonous. For example, a fornicator for instance will be followed by the demon of fornication, a drunkard, or suicide etc. just as the Holy Bible says in situ: "…The sting of death is sin… (I Corinthians 15:56). Every sin being committed on earth by human beings has their respective demons causing humans to commit that particular sin. I asked the Lord Jesus Christ, what about those three creatures following Death? The Lord Jesus Christ explained further that those three creatures are Coma, Disease and Torture. That is why when an unbeliever who doesn't know, worship and obey our Lord Jesus Christ is about to die, Death will come with his sting/club in hand and his associates namely, Coma, which is also known as the spirit of Unconsciousness or Stupor according to Romans 11:8 thus: "…as it is written: "God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear, to this very day." When an unbeliever is about to transit to the Other World, he or she can "see" Death and these weird demonic creatures and because they are grotesque, he or she begins to scream so in order to silence the person, Death will command Coma to enter the person and lull him or her to state of stupor or unconsciousness. You hear of these things all the time when you visit a loved one bed-ridden and in a Coma either at home or in the hospital. The death of an unbeliever is terrible!

Furthermore, the Lord Jesus Christ explained to me that the demon of disease is equivalent to the disease or illness that Death afflicts on the person so for example, if it's the illness of Cancer that is ravaging the person, the demon of cancer will accompany Death. If it is diabetes, stroke, ischemic, or any of the deadly diseases afflicting humans, the demon responsible for the illness will accompany Death in that order and then Torturer also known as the Tormentor is a freelance demon summon by Death according to the lifestyle of the dying person. Just as our Lord Jesus Christ disclosed in Matthew 18:34: "And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him" (KJV). The New American Standard Bible rendered that verse this way: "And his master, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he would repay all that was owed him." Both words: Tormentor and Torturer referred to the same demon I saw accompanied Death on that day at the DMI.

All these spiritual lessons my Lord Jesus Christ was teaching me about Death are known among many cultures and traditions of the world. For example, in Yoruba cosmology, there is a dirge that praises Death this way: "Iku mare o onida ina, arun mare onikumo lehin, e ma filemi sagbe odile oro" meaning "Here is Death, the wielder of fiery sting/club, and here is Disease in tow, please do not reside in my dwelling but go to the forest." You can hear this dirge in one of the classics of late Chief Hubert Adedeji Ogunde, the doyen of Yoruba Theatre. The same valorization of Death among indigenous Mexicans, Death is in fact worshipped as a deity known as Santa Muerte. Depicted as a macabre and lugubrious skeletal effigy as the Grim Reaper, the indigenous Mayan, Aztec, and Olmec devotees syncretized this pagan religious worship with Roman Catholicism and pre-Columbian beliefs and designate three days: October 31-November 2 each year to this principality exactly the way I saw it decked eerily in black hoodie 27 years ago at the DMI. More in my forthcoming autobiography; Kidnapped To Glory!

Of all the beautiful cities and towns that I have lived and visited in northern part of Nigeria, from Kano, Kaduna, Sokoto to Maiduguri, Bauchi, Potiskum etc., the Plateau State capital of Jos is dearest to my heart. In addition to its beautiful and clement nonpareil weather, its cosmopolitan nature as the bellwether of north and its topography; the most beautiful attraction of this ancient city is the people. Jos is a place for all, and the indigenous people are very accommodating. It is also a well-planned and modern city by Nigerian-African standard. My path crossed with Sylvanus Mangit Namang in the early 1990s after more than a decade I had relocated to Lagos. I had been offered an admission to read Law at the University of Jos but declined the offer and accepted to read Education/Social Science at the University of Lagos in the 1980s. As early as the age of 17, I had been squeezing money out to buy-not just to read but buy- my favorite newspaper. Thus, I knew very early in life that I would be a journalist, so my future was already cut out for me. I did not attend any career counseling to discover my future; I just knew after passing out in Grade One Distinction in my WASC that journalism was my future. It was at the defunct The Standard Newspapers in Jos, Plateau State that I first had an encounter with late Sylvanus Mangit Namang where he was features editor. Unbeknown to many, my first published piece appeared in the famous Drum magazine of those days as a letter to the editor when I was just 16 years old. I didn't even know the piece had been published but my cousin, Ganiyu Oladele who is now working with the Nigerian Customs bought a copy of the monthly publication and drew my attention to it. The rest, as they say is now history.

Sylvanus Namang who was assassinated last month by unknown killers was a good man. Our paths crossed in Jos in the 1980s. His killers must be brought to justice.

When I left Jos for the University of Lagos in the 1980s, Sylvanus and I lost contacts but later re-united when I won the contract to organize the launch of a book authored by another friend, the late Mr. Olubunmi Ajibowu Fayemi. We agreed to unveil the book in Jos, and I quickly reached out to Sylvanus. He had risen through the ranks in the noble profession of journalism and as the chairman of the NUJ Plateau State. He eagerly pooled all resources with my company and made his local contacts available for us to make the occasion a huge success. He suggested we made Ambassador Yahya Kwande the guest of honor, the political amazon late Ngo Yop Hannatu Chollom (1943-2015) as co-launcher with Alhaji Zollolo. It was at his behest that I contacted late Prof. Samuel Aje, former VC, Achievers University, Owo my kinsman, who was a professor of French at the University of Jos. Other notable personalities also graced the occasion at the Hill Station Hotel, and we indeed had a blast. It is sad to hear that such a thorough-bred professional journalist and good man was cut down by hired assassins. The Tinubu administration must ensure Milcah, Sylvanus widow and their two sons get justice.

We are called to proclaim the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Jesus Christ we proclaim is God Incarnate born sinless. He lived as human, though He is God to save us from Satan. He died on the Cross to shed His Blood for our sins to satisfy the righteous demand of a Holy God that without the shedding of blood, no forgiveness of sins. He paid the ransom for our sins. On the Third Day, He resurrected and today, He has the Power and Authority in heaven, on earth and in the nether gloom, because Death could not hold Him since He did not sin but took the punishment in our stead. He is reigning in the hearts of us who have put our trust and faith in Him. He is coming back to take us who are His Own to where He has promised to prepare for us, heaven. While we expect His imminent return, we appeal to you to forsake your sinful ways and join us together to fight our common enemy: Satan. Join us in the spiritual battle for the souls of human beings and make heaven. Don't go to hell.

The Lord Jesus Christ moved mightily in fall 2023 in South Africa by exposing the Kingdom of Darkness. Here were what the Holy Spirit taught us. What is witchcraft? How are humans initiated? What are the reasons people venture into this dark act? How do witches operate and how do they summon demons? What are the signs of witchcraft activities in today's church and how to recognize witches and wizards masquerading as "pastors" and workers in the church? How can you overcome their activities in your Christian Life? Watch the though-provoking expose now on our YouTube Channel: -

It has been in the works for almost three years, but only now did the Holy Spirit give it a nod. Just as all the itineraries of the early apostles were initiated, planned, directed, and commanded by the Holy Spirit, so also in this ministry. We do not choose our evangelistic activities haphazardly but seek the Face of the One Who called us, our Lord, Master and Savior Jesus Christ, Hallelujah! Now, the coast is clear and our first spiritual voyage in the New Year 2024 is the Salt of the Nation, Ebonyi State. Our 3-Day seminar focuses on the State of Pastoral Calling. This is a -3-Day Spiritual Seminar and Re-Awakening. THEME-: Are You Truly Called To Be A Pastor By Our Lord Jesus Christ?

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!'--- Matthew 7:21-23, Luke 6:46

The numbers of churches are mushrooming all over the country and the world, yet evil is ubiquitous at unprecedented levels. You hear atrocities committed by so called pastors and wonder, how many of these so-called pastors have been called by our Lord, Master, and Savior Jesus Christ? How does the True Lord God Almighty call people to pastoral work? Why are churches mushrooming at astounding rate but evil and wickedness are metastasizing, especially in Nigeria and Africa? How do you recognize a fake Pastor? What are the signs of fake churches? These are many more are what the Holy Spirit will expose in Abakaliki Ebonyi Breakthrough 2024. This Holy Spirit-directed Seminar requires registration for all attendees. It is absolutely free, but we want attendees to register so we can plan for our venue. Again, attendance is free as Jesus Christ commanded: "…Freely you have received and freely give" (Matthew 10:8b).
