e thank God for the privilege of hosting the International Gathering of Eagles Conference in Chile from Thursday, May 1 to Sunday May 4, 2025.
Chile is a South American nation known for its stunning geographic diversity, stretching over 4,300 km (2,670 miles) along the western edge of the continent, making it the longest north-south country in the world. It is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Andes Mountains to the east. With a population of approximately 19.5 million people, Chile is predominantly Christian, with Roman Catholicism being the largest denomination, followed by a growing number of Evangelical Protestants.
Chile gained its independence from Spain on September 18, 1810, and this day is celebrated as a national holiday. The country is a democratic republic, currently led by President Gabriel Boric (as of 2025), one of the youngest presidents in its history. Economically, Chile is one of Latin America's most stable and prosperous nations, with a strong export economy based on copper mining, agriculture, and fishing. It is the world’s largest copper producer.
Chile is also notable for its over 2,000 volcanoes, many of which are active, making it one of the most volcanically active countries on Earth. Its peculiar geographic features, such as the Atacama Desert (the driest desert in the world) and its long coastline, add to its unique environmental and cultural identity.

- Give thanks for Chile’s rich natural resources, especially its copper, agriculture, and fisheries, which have contributed to national prosperity.
- Thank God for the growing presence of Evangelical and Pentecostal churches across Chile and for the increasing spiritual hunger among the people.
- Ask God to pour out His Spirit over Chile, bringing repentance, transformation, and a mighty revival across all generations. Only 64% of Chileans are Christians (56% as Catholics). 15 % have no religious affiliation. Therefore pray that souls shall be saved in Chile.
- Intercede for President Gabriel Boric and all national leaders — that they would rule with justice, wisdom, and fear of God.
- As Chile is prone to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, pray for divine protection and preparedness to reduce loss of life and property. The most recent significant earthquake in Chile occurred today Friday, May 2, 2025, at 9:58 AM local time. This magnitude 7.4 quake struck in the Drake Passage, approximately 218 kilometers south of Puerto Williams, in the Magallanes region of southern Chile.

- Pray that churches in Chile would stay rooted in God’s Word, reject compromise, corruption and boldly proclaim the Gospel across the nation.
- Lift up those living in poverty, young people under the influence of drug addictions ,alcoholism, and social injustice — that they would experience practical help, hope, deliverance and healing through the Church and society.
- Pray against division, violence, and political unrest, and ask God to unite Chile under peace, truth, and shared national purpose.
