Argentina, a beautiful South American nation, declared its independence on July 9, 1816, after nearly 300 years of Spanish colonial rule beginning in the 1500s.
Join us in offering thanks and fervent prayers for this great nation — believing God to make Argentina even greater.
- Thank God for Divine Preservation:
Bless the Lord for preserving Argentina through centuries of economic, political, and social challenges, and for its ongoing development and resilience as a nation. (Psalm 124:1–8)
- Thank God for Leadership and Growth:
Praise God for President Javier Milei (in office since 2023) and past leaders. Give thanks for Argentina’s vibrant population of 45.85 million people, 96% of whom live in urban areas, contributing to a rich, dynamic culture. (Romans 13:1)
- Thank God for Spiritual Hunger and Revival Seeds:
Celebrate the growth of the Church in Argentina — where 62.2% are Catholic, 15.1% Protestant, and a hunger for God continues to rise among the people. Thank God for historic revivals that began in cities like Buenos Aires and Rosario. (Isaiah 60:22; Habakkuk 2:14)
- Praise God for Economic Resilience:
Despite past struggles, Argentina's economy is projected to grow by 5.5% in 2025. Praise God for strengthening sectors like financial services and fishing, signs of His blessing upon the land. (Deuteronomy 28:12)
- Thank God for Youthful Energy and Opportunity:
With a median age of 32.9 years, Argentina’s young population holds enormous promise for the future. Thank God for the next generation of innovators, leaders, and believers. (Psalm 145:4)
- Pray for a Fresh Outpouring of the Holy Spirit:
Ask God to use this conference as a gateway for a national revival — that sons and daughters would prophesy, and the land would be saturated with the glory of God. (Joel 2:28–29)
- Pray for Righteous Leadership:
Intercede for President Javier Milei and all government officials. Pray they will lead with wisdom, justice, and a fear of the Lord, rejecting corruption and embracing truth. (Proverbs 29:2; 1 Timothy 2:1–2)
- Pray for Economic Healing and Poverty Alleviation:
Cry out for divine solutions to Argentina’s economic challenges. Pray for the 38.1%living in poverty and the 6.9% facing unemployment — that God would raise policies and opportunities that bring prosperity. (Deuteronomy 8:18)
- Pray for Church Leaders and Unity:
Ask for wisdom, strength, and holiness for church leaders across Argentina. Pray that both Catholic and Evangelical leaders will move in unity to advance the Kingdom of God across every sector of society. (Ephesians 4:11–13)
- Pray for Peace, Justice, and Spiritual Awakening:
Declare an end to division, violence, and corruption. Pray for nationwide peace, justice, and a mighty spiritual awakening that will spread from Argentina across South America and the world. (Isaiah 60:18; Matthew 5:14–16)
