NIGERIA: FLOODING AND DESTRUCTION! -
CLIMATE CHANGE, WHAT THE GOVERNMENT MUST DO AND THE ROLE OF CITIZENS- A VIDEO COMMENTARY

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNR84o7Jy04

ainfall frequency and volume continue to increase in Nigeria. The result of climate change, this development continues to wreak havoc on infrastructure where buildings are flooded, dam breached, culverts overtopped, and roadways rendered impassable.

Unfortunately, Nigeria has not developed a robust response to combat the effects of climate change on infrastructure like other nations. And it is my considered opinion that if Nigeria continues to do what it is currently doing, which is inaction regarding climate change, more rainfall catastrophe with attendant infrastructure destruction, are unfortunately on the way.

In this video, I discuss some of the effects of climate change on Nigerian infrastructure and some roles government and citizens must play to help minimize the destructive effects of climate change.

Hopefully, this video will get to decision makers for implementation.
