WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE MIND OF MAN?

ow Potus continue to expose my compatriot Nigerians' wishes for their fellow Nigerians in Trumpland is damning! What's in the mind of man towards his fellow citizens? What could be the motivation for other Nigerians to wish other diaspora Nigerians bad? Why do you hate or resent yourselves, most especially when most of you live in a bubbling borrowed hands? Most Nigerians are two-faced! Do not be too complacent to read in-between the lines of the deceit of these two-faced individuals in Nigeria.

When there is good news about Nigerians in the diaspora, excelling in their professional careers, most especially in the United States, most of our disgruntled compatriots in Nigeria have always kept mum, but when their leader or the whole continent is denigrated and disparaged by the current Potus, social media is always awash with unexpected nauseating enthusiasm. The cyberborgs have always competed with one another to outshine themselves to post Potus's vituperation and invective messages on social media. Who cursed the minds of man to do the unthinkable and lose their minds?

It's unfathomable that some educated Nigerians who are versed in law could discountanance the constitutionality of a birthright in the United States to misinform the populace. Before these sensational news carriers misinform their Nigerian audiences whose children carry US citizenship, we must refer them to the 14 amendment of the constitution of the United States which says:

"The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, ratified in 1868, granted citizenship to all persons born or naturalized in the United States�including former slaves�and guaranteed all citizens �equal protection of the laws.�

In another interpretation, it goes thus:

"No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

Concerned and learned Nigerians must let their Nigerian contemporaries in Nigeria know that the president of the United States of America cannot invoke executive orders to reverse the constitution. Potus's pronouncement is political. It's for midterms political expediency to rally his base. The pronouncement will fizzle out into the usual oblivion of politics in a matter of days. It's a pure political stunt! The president is using his immigration posture to leverage his party's dire chance in the impending defeat in the forthcoming midterms election.

Sadly, it is preposterous for our people to traffic in negative news about Nigeria when we have so much negative nuances to contend with in our dysfunctional society-Nigeria.

Instructively, you cannot blame Potus for his laborious behavior on our national lives. We must not relent in our efforts to see a better Nigeria. If Nigerian past leadership was alive to its responsibility, Nigerians would not be making strenuous trips abroad to deliver their (anchor) babies in another country. Those of us who are privileged to be in the United States must continue to be law-abiding citizens and contribute our quotas to American greatness and exceptionalism. In the midst of confusion and contradictions, self-induced conundrums and needless problems in Nigeria, we should not be discouraged to love our country-Nigeria in its stride to see a secured and prosperous future.

Lastly, Nigerian-Americans should beware of fake news outlets that relish in sensational amateur journalism! Nigerian enablers and carriers of negative news and nuances should understand that, what makes America great is the unblemished patriotism, love and "we the people" as enshrined in the constitution of the United States of America. Nigeria should not be an exception in the new world order!
