IT'S BETTER TO REASON TOGETHER, PLEASE!

n vain their animus cast
Plebiscite encircles their feet.
I am Obamacare, calling for the
first and repeated time.

Must Obamacare cry
for vain votes and vices in
Washington?
For their repeal and Fifty four times
to Nothingness to kill Obamacare.

So when the Grand Old Party
attempts to annul Obamacare,
Its potent power repels their
shenanigans to get required votes.

Deeply in the hearts of families
With pre-existing conditions,
Obamacare has come to stay.
To patients, healthcare is buffer,
To repealers, healthcare is politics.

Obamacare pukes when they deluge
their fox libations.
Each finger pointed at the ballot
to nullify Obamacare comes
to nothingness.

It's exercise in futility to heave
an idea whose time has come!
Get down to other biz of politics in Washington before midterm poll.
Perform the job you're elected to do!
The US plebeians are keenly watching!
Obamacare repeal is nulled. Period!

This poem is inspired by "Abiku" authored by my literary idol, Prof. Wole Soyinka.
