“Dwelling on negative thoughts is like fertilizing weeds." – Norman Vincent Peale

“Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows; it empties today of its strength.” –Corrie Ten Boom

his article below is being dedicated to the incredible optimist, newly promoted Airforce General Charles Quinton Brown Jr. of the US Army. General Brown Jr. is the United States Air Force General. He was appointed by Donald Trump to the Chief of Staff of the U.S Air Force on 9th June 2020. The Air Force General confirmed as the first black chief of a U.S. military service. As an incurable optimist, the events of the last few months, and the dated 401 years and age-long systemic racism in America is the beginning of a new beginning in the history of racial discrimination in the United States.

In spite of her shortcomings, America encourages and infatuates souls that strive to tap from her imagination, endless possibilities, and opportunities! America will surely respond to her creed; where all men and women are created equal. This creed can only be true to its import without racial slurs and discrimination that have permeated the structural entity and the souls America.

People with unshakeable faith are always (faithfully) faithful to their instincts and divine providence. Faithful people are optimists of a brighter future. Optimists do not dwell in negativity. A man of incredible faith is an incurable optimist. Only death can burden the optimism and expectations of the optimists or faithful. Even in death, the family of an optimist or faithful person believes faithfully in the eternal rest and esoteric life (life after death) of their demised faithful. No lesser being with midget (small) mind can ‘cure’ the incurable optimists.

Optimists are inquisitors; they're always prodded in thoughts by their sense of imagination and possibility. Smart people learn how to look for and discover the profound beauty inherent or tucked away in the simplicity of optimists. Optimists are innovators, entrepreneurs, and cool-gifted-teachers. If an optimist loses or fails in a business venture, he is motivated by his failure to succeed another time. In reality, if we can realize the power of our thoughts and the deep-rooted success lurking in our faith and optimism, we will understand and not underestimate the power ingrained in our ideas and imagination. We will always abide by the popular saying: “that the first step to success is having confidence and faith you can succeed.”

"Optimists see possibility in every opportunity; pessimists see the difficulty in every opportunity."- Brown. Optimists are always fired up to motivate everyone around him. Optimists see clearly what pessimists don’t see. Pessimists are pathological critics with no iota of reasonable and constructive criticism. Constructive critics are realists and moral enablers. They premise their criticisms on how to help the optimists better their performances. But pessimists indirectly keep everyone (most especially their victims and optimists at bay) improving through their discouraging and resentful attitude or behavior. Pessimists always station 'at the giving of the beginning' and ‘at the receiving end.’ Realists are always at the equilibrium point. Realists keep everyone balanced to see the inflection and deflection of their purpose in life. “A person (optimist) with a clear purpose will make progress on even the roughest road. A person (pessimist) with no purpose will make no progress on even the smoothest road.” –Thomas Carlyle

Although the pessimists are very forceful and sinister in their actions and motives towards difficult ventures, the optimists and faithful can discern the motives of the pessimists and see through the prism of the inordinate actions of the pessimists. The pessimists are always in mind competition (insurrection and surreptitious motion) to discourage the optimists from going forward on a rough road to success. Pessimists will not tell you that "between you and every goal that you wish to achieve, there is a series of obstacles, the bigger the goals, the bigger the obstacles." –Brian Tracy

Man is innately wired to (mis)understand life with the use of his cognition. In other words, man is naturally lazy or synergized to ask questions or be an inquisitor. A man should not be gullible, he should avoid being rewired by the pessimists who usually profit from the reconstruction of his naturally wired mind. We must never, for a second give in, or be second fiddle or capitulate to the discouragement of the pessimists. (Pessimists), according to Brendon Burchard, “doubt increases with inaction. Clarity (optimism) reveals itself in momentum. Growth comes from progress. For all these reasons, BEGIN.” Begin to unleash your potential to the consternation of the pessimists around you.

In all of this, Optimists tend to be more valued than the pessimists and realists, but in reality, the realists, optimists, and pessimists are all equally necessary. Each of them has a unique role they play in the lives of every human being. None of the realists, optimists, and pessimists can inescapably be discarded from our everyday lives. They are all existentially important and essential.

Moreover, let's keep hope alive and be optimistic like the newly promoted optimistic General Charles Quinton Brown Jr. If President Obama could mutate to be the first Black President of the United States of America, tell the pessimists around you what the Holy Bible says: it can only tarry, it won't tarry in the long run. General Brown will be a professional pacesetter and bridge-builder! We are immensely proud of him and his beautiful family. Congratulations to General Brown Jr. and the Black Lives Matter. The optimism and professionalism of General Brown fueled his determination to get to the highest cadre of his profession. I hope this piece motivates the pessimists, optimists, and realists of this world.

Again, Congratulations, General Charles Quinton Brown.
