opes have risen for employment opportunities in Abia State, Nigeria as the Enyimba Economic City Project, other things being equal, is expected to take off this year. Recently,Abia State and Federal Government signed Definitive Agreements.

Both President Muhammadu Buhari and Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State are excited by the initiative. While Buhari sees the project as" exactly what his administration was looking for to create employment for the people and boost the economy", Ikpeazu says that "Aba, the location of the project," is strategically located for easy access from all south-east and south-south".
