Arizona, USA

resident Donald Trump is now the third US President to be impeached by the House of Representative also known as Congress. POTUS was impeached on the "Abuse of power" and "Obstruction of Congress." To set the record straight to some of us in Nigeria and the US who do not understand the US impeachment process, US impeachment is a process of legislative charges against a sitting President of the United States. The government of the US has coequal branches. According to its constitution, in order "to ensure a separation of powers, the U.S. Federal Government is made up of three branches: Legislative Executive and Judicial. To ensure the government is effective and citizens' rights are protected, each branch has its own powers and responsibilities, including working with the other branches."

Impeachment of a President in the USA is not necessarily automatic removal of him or her from the office---the White House. Those of you in a jubilation mode and chronic mood, with a lack of knowledge and understanding of the impeachment, you should go and read with the understandable muse of the meaning of impeachment. It's not the same as removal from office, but an impeachment of POTUS is predicated on 20 Republicans to vote against him out 51 seated Republicans in the House of Senate---which is a tall order, in a party suffering from what I call 'trumphobia of the Republican party.' The US Senate has 51 Republicans, 47 Democrats, and 2 Independents, who both caucus with the Democrats.

It's a sad and unfortunate day for America and the world to see American exceptionalism threatened by the vile and unthinkable behavior of her seating President. We should stop rejoicing to the reflective moment and one of the saddest and dark days in the history of the United States of America. America is a nation of law, and America is also a formidable nation with every sense of judgment. Undoubtedly, POTUS-Donald Trump may not be removed from the office. But the chronic partisan of the Republican Party, and the penchant interest of them not to lose their job in November 2020 will not make them remove the President from office. Madam Speaker Nancy Pelosi is a very smart strategist. She has the maneuvering power to delay sending the articles of impeachment to the rowdy Senate for litigation if the Senate Majority leader fails to force POTUS to produce the numerous evidential facts being withheld by the White House.

The precursor to the Constitution of the United is the declaration of her independence and the sacred motive in the preservation of American values and exceptionalism. The scared motive is currently being tested! It must be preserved by the American electorate in November 2020. Please, don't hate this POTUS! Let's show him humanism and vote him out of power! We need to 'pelosinize' POTUS like grandma treats a grandchild. The man needs our prayers, unconditional love, and empathy, not hate! America will bounce back from the heightened and unmitigated chaos of the current President.

Fortunately, it will be painfully OK before it is morally soothing and Ok in America again. That's, it will get worse before it gets better! Americans will speak louder in November 2020 to mar or make and preserve her uniqueness and exceptionalism amongst the comity of global nations. US Senate must bring forth a fair trial to be closely watched by the Supreme Court Justice, Chief Justice John Roberts. The impending trial of the POTUS in the partisan Senate will be a consequential and inconsequential period in the history of America. To my jubilant and uninformed contemporary Nigerians and Americans, President Trump's impeachment is historic but his trial and removal from office are premised on the history the Republican Senate majority seeks to make by either commission or omission in the weeks ahead. Let's keep our arms akimbo and our fingers crossed as we watch history unfolds.
