IKE EKWEREMADU

Senator Ike Ekweremadu

ke Ekweremadu may have acted fast to deny the allegation of joining APC, but he must be very careful.

If he is not careful, the same way he climaxed politically, is the same way he will crash without pity.

What destroyed Senator Jim Nwobodo was the role he played at the Jos convention that denied Dr Alex Ekwueme the PDP presidential ticket. The moment the Jos convention ended, Jim Nwobodo was elected a senator. He was projected to emerge the senate president but the same Obasanjo whom he betrayed Ekwueme to help emerge the PDP presidential candidate said, he couldn't trust Jim to head the senate. He opted for Senator Evans Enwerem.

Jim Nwobodo lost out at the National level. On coming back to Enugu state, the same Obasanjo backed the then gov Chimaroke Nnamani to roundly retire Jim politically.

So senator Ike Ekweremadu MUST watch it. He should forgo his personal interest and support his brother, Peter Obi.

Only God knows why he laboured for Atiku and suffered to stand with PDP despite trials and his VP ambition was not granted. He should accept it in good fate and move on since Atiku accommodated Igbo interest which is the main point of his assumed political drive.

Any attempt to become Jim Nwobodo of 1998 Jos convention will end his political career abruptly.

Ndigbo everywhere including over 98% of Ike's followers see Obi's VP nomination as "nke anyi". And whoever that stands against it will go down in history.

Ike Ekweremadu should gauge the mood of his people. Infact, Ike must openly support the Igbo agenda or he will be tagged a saboteur which will equally affect his political career.

It is not enough, saying he is not joining APC. He must be seen as truly not against Obi's choice. ...
