ARETHA FRANKLIN: A NATURAL WOMAN DIES! (Poem)

Aretha Franklin

retha Franklin,
Beautiful angel of decorum
In the argy-bargy.
The voice of Amazon,
Halted but not silenced.

A pigeonholed cherub
In the racial divide of America.
She remained steadfast!
Beautiful soul who lived
A beautiful life in full.

The crows around her
Sang in sonority unaware
For our pride.
Agatha's imposingly deep
And full voice gave us hope
And succor!

Even in death, she sings,
In Catacombs
With ex-cathedral voice.
Her exhumed sense of global
Patriotism will be venerated
In heaven.

The voice of ancient
Of our time is punctuated
but not hushed.
In the contemporary
American music, her marks
In the sand of time is indelible.

Aretha Franklin's mien,
Rooted our minds to do good always.
Her quintessential artistry
Is scintillating and enduring!
Her legacy endures!
Agatha Franklin lives on
As our insatiable muse!
