he year was 1984, I had taken a ride to one of the most populous Pentecostal churches in Benin City and upon my arrival I quietly stepped into the humongous cathedral and sat close to the entrance. As I began to admire the magnificent edifice, something extraordinary caught my attention. It was a well-crafted framed picture of a Caucasian white man hung on the wall at the entrance of the Church. The frame was placed conspicuously to attract the attention of the members and visitors alike. At this point I was confused about the identity of the white man on the well-decorated frame in a Church congregated and operated by black worshippers. The first question that came to my mind was, could this be the actual picture of Jesus Christ? Was Jesus Christ a white man? In the course of the next hours as the service progressed, I was trapped between the thought of unraveling the identity of the mystery white man on the frame and other activities in the church. At the end, I conceded for self-consolation by simply accepting the fact that the man on the frame was Jesus Christ. It was years later that I came to understand that there had been deliberate attempt to distort the true representation of the identity of the son of God, the messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ.

The proliferation of the fake image of Jesus Christ is not only an aberration to the Christian faith, it is an attempt to distort and circumvent some elements of facts and to elevate, sustain and establish the supremacy of one race over another. However, was Jesus Christ, the son of the most high really white? How come this image has been exported from the western world to the rest of the world and it is widely accepted as true identity of Christ? Here is the reason. Jesus Christ was/is a representation of God. The son of the most high, the creator of all things. For this reason, it is not surprising to see that Jesus Christ has been depicted as an element that personifies the white race. To an ordinary person, it is an acceptable assumption that white is good and black is bad. This fake imagery of an imaginary white Jesus Christ is a self-conceived blatant fallacy and a calculated lie.

Verifiable historic evidence had proven that Jesus Christ was in fact a black man. I believe many would probably stop reading this article from here, thinking that this writer has lost his mind. Yes, I repeat, Jesus Christ was a black man. The antiquities of the manuscript of an early renowned Jewish Historian by the name Flavius Josephus in his book "Halosis or the "Capture (of Jerusalem)," written around 72 A.D gave vivid accuracy of exact physical description of Jesus Christ. Here was Josephus description of Christ: "At that time also there appeared a certain man of magic power … if it be meet to call him a man, [whose name is Jesus], whom [certain] Greeks call a son of [a] God, but his disciples [call] the true prophet who is supposed to have raised dead persons and to have cured all diseases. Both his nature and his form were human, for he was a man of simple appearance, mature age, black-skinned (melagchrous),… prognathous (lit. 'with a long face [macroprosopos]), a long nose… with scanty & curly hair, but having a line in the middle of the head after the fashion of the Nazaraeans, with an undeveloped beard. (*Hal?sis, ii.174)." (Flavius Josephus)[2]

I would advise everyone to research some historical antiquities of the Jews with special reference to Flavius Josephus manuscripts although his original deposition about the characteristics of Christ has been changed, altered or deleted. Flavius Josephus's writing had been widely read by Christian scholars around the world. It has gone through a lot of alterations especially the text of his original description of Christ which had been deleted or changed to an imaginary image of a white Jesus. Apart from Josephus's analysis of Christ's physical imagery, there were other renowned early century historians whose description of Jesus Christ struck some credible semblance to that of Josephus. I am recommending the following writings by Dr. Wesley Muhammad PhD. Color struck: America's White Jesus is a global export and false product" and Jesus, the Black Prophet and the Ancient Black Hebrews of Israel. https://blackarabia.blogspot.com/2011/09/jesus-black-prophet-and-ancient-black.html

https://realhistoryww.com/world_history/ancient/Misc/Jesus/Jesus.htm. This extract is also taken from Dr. Wesley researched work: Here were some of the description of Christ by early historians. Justin Marty (A.D. 150-160) speaks of him as without beauty or attractiveness, and of mean appearance. Clement of Alexandria (A.D. 200), describes him as of an uninviting appearance, and almost repulsive. Tertullian (A.D. 200-210) says he had not even ordinary human beauty, far less heavenly. Origen (A.D. 230) went so far as to say that he was 'small in body and deformed.' As well as low-born, and that, 'his only beauty was in his soul and life (emphasis Doane's).[7]

According to Dr. Wesley's analysis "In 2002 British forensic scientists and Israeli archaeologists reconstructed what they believe is the most accurate image of Jesus based off of data obtained from the multi-disciplinary approach. In December 2002 Popular Science Magazine published a cover story on the findings which confirm that Jesus would have been short, around 5"1', hair "short with tight curls," a weather-beaten face "which would have made him appear older," dark eyes and complexion: "he probably looked a great deal more like a dark-skinned Semite than Westerners are used to seeing," they concluded. The textual, visual, and scientific evidence agrees, then: Jesus likely was a short, dark-skinned Semite with short curly hair and dark eyes - Dr. Wesley Muhammad.

Here was the biblical description of Jesus Christ, 700 years before He was born. Isaiah 53:2 -3 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. This was what God had shown to prophet Isaiah about His son who would be born into the world to redeem mankind of eternal death. Isaiah's prophetic description of Christ could be seen to fashion along with the accounts of 1st and 2rd century historians. The height of odium against our Lord Jesus Christ by the Jews was partly because of his humble back ground and personality and this was reflected in their quest before the Roman authority to have Him executed instead of Barabbas who was a murderer. But how does this simple, not attractive black Jewish rabbi, the messiah, and the son of the most high eventually become a tall white Caucasian with long hair dripping on his shoulder? The answer is simple. If the true identity of Christ were to be revealed as an element of black Jewish extraction, it would have been regarded as humiliation for other races to see themselves bowing in reverence to a black Jesus Christ. Unfortunately the black race would have been the first to despise and reject him as the messiah. In order for other races to feel comfortable accepting Christ as God, He must be re-packaged, characterized, and re-defined as a white man. This conspiracy was masterminded by the early Orthodox Church and then by Pope Alexandra VI of Rome.

All original portraits of Christ recorded by the Roman Catholic Church were black until Alexandra VI became the Pope. He used his position to appoint his son Cesare Borgia into the office of a Cardinal. Cesare Borgia would later resign to become a ruthless military commander and a high ranked political figure. He would later employ Leonardo da Vinci as the military architect. Records had shown that Leonardo da Vinci painted several images of white Jesus Christ some of which were fashioned after Cesare Borgia. It was this painting of Cesare Borgia that was and now proliferated by the Catholic Church and other religious organization around the world, while the original portraits of Christ as a dark skinned Nazaraean was removed from the public eye but kept within the Catholic monastery. Check this link for fraudulent image of Christ painted after Cesare Borgia. https://www.israelite.net/image.htm. The world had been deceived and made to believe that Jesus Christ was a white man when in essence he was actually a black Jew. Today Africans are trapped in their own ignorance promoting paganism and idolatry by worshipping the fraudulent image of a white Jesus Christ. They litter their homes and churches with fake images of Jesus Christ. Some Churches have gone as far as producing materials like T-shirts, sign posts, postcards, anointing water, oil, wrist bands with images of Cesare Borgia whom they believe is Jesus Christ. The other day while I was going through some programs on YouTube, I saw the members of a popular church in Warri, Mercy land Ministry, with neck bands tagged with an image of a white man whom I believe they worship because to them that is Jesus Christ. Here is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oZA-sxrlXU

It must be clearly understood that this church is not the only place where this falsehood and idolatry is ignorantly displayed. As a matter of fact majority of churches in Africa especially in Nigeria have had the image of a white God embedded and inscribed on their homes and churches. I do not have any problem with any white individuals who believe Jesus Christ was white, but there is a serious problem as all other races including black have continued to idolize and proliferate the image of Jesus Christ as that of a white man in spite of a well-established historic facts and evidences that the messiah was a black Jewish rabbi.

One may argue that it does not really matter whatever color Jesus Christ was, because the most important thing is for everyone regardless of race to repent and to accept him as Lord and savior. That is absolutely right, but I had to address this issue because it is an infamy on the part of the church to use this image to ridicule the Lord God and to those who believe in Him. It is particularly a dishonor to the Lord's divinity. At the least, if an image is going to be presented, it has to be an image that had been described by various reputable historians. Even though He was not an attractive man according to the gospel and historians, He would rather wish to be presented the way He was rather than a fraudulent and fabricated image. The spread of this deception is tantamount to mental and psychological warfare on Christians around the world especially African continent where they still believe that the white man is God. This nonsense has also caused a lot of black people to reject Christianity thinking it is a white man's religion.

The scripture has seriously warned against the worship of images that maybe be portrayed as God. According to the book of Exodus 20: 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me. This tradition was kept by the disciples and early believers of Christian faith until somewhere along the line Satanism and idolatry began to infiltrate into the church. This scripture is as important today as it was 3000 years ago when the Ten Commandments was handed to Moses on Mount Sinai. Therefore any act of depiction of an imaginary white Jesus Christ is not only misleading and falsehood, it is an idolatry and an abomination to God.

Has it ever occurred to anyone that the most vulnerable race in the world is the black race? This race had been castigated, stigmatized, and dehumanized and yet they still do not understand their place in the history of creation. They have no way of retrieving and decimating information about their historic artifacts in regard to their place in history. Information about their vital position in history had been stolen and censored. The first mankind created by God was a black man. Genesis 2: 7 "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul". The color of dust is either dark, brown or red and that explains the mystery of the first human creation.

Africans need to understand that the fabricated images of a white Jesus Christ they display in their homes, cars, music videos, crusade grounds, seminars, camp meetings, prayer grounds and churches are the images of Cesare Borgia, the son of Pope Alexandra VI. This terrible misrepresentation of the image of the true son of God, His majesty, our Lord Jesus Christ, is extremely dangerous. It is a direct worship of a false god. One must not expect his/her prayers to be answered when in possession of such idol. Years of ignorance is understandable, it is time to do away with such satanic images.
