Condolence and tribute to Senator Isaiah Balat



ith a heavy heart of grief and sympathy, the Zumunta National Executive council, on behalf of its members joins the people of Kaduna State in mourning the sudden passing away to glory of one of Nigeria’s illustrious sons, former presidential aide and former minister of works, Senator Isaiah Balat.

Late Senator Balat will always be remembered for his legacy of friendship to all people across every region of Nigeria. We also remember him for his superior leadership skills, entrepreneurial spirit and fatherly qualities which served as a beacon of hope for his people of southern Kaduna and the Nigerian nation.

Senator Isaiah Balat was a fine politician, who lived a life of commitment and dedication in his service for the people of Southern Kaduna, Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole. As a true nationalist, Senator Isaiah Balat left no stone unturned as he worked tirelessly, for the cause of Nigeria’s unity and development. A legacy that will truly be missed.

We all share in the grief and pain of Senator Balat’s immediate family and friends, praying that God Almighty will grant them all the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. May his soul rest in Peace.

As for the people of Kaduna State, we urge that Leaders of every political persuasion emulate Senator Balat’s spirit of friendship, dedication and commitment to the progress of every citizen of the state irrespective of ethnicity and creed.
