Continued Part 2

The message sent through smoke gets to heaven in a jiffy (Ozi eziri anwuruk erula elu igwe) (Igbo Proverb)

The toad doesn't engage in an afternoon run without a cause (Awoo adighi agba oso ehihie nefu) (Igbo Proverb)

Let the hawk perch and let the Eagle perch, any that prevents the other from perching should have broken wings (Egbe bere, ugo bere, nke si ibe ya ebela, nku kwaa ya) (Igbo Proverb)

resident Obama should know that Buhari he helped in making the president is going back to the only life he knows; dictatorship, as he can't operate in a democratic setting. By asking for absolute powers, Buhari plans to turn Nigeria into a one-party state. Even some have also accused Buhari of being a force behind the crisis that has engulfed the PDP, due to his despotic, tyrannical and feudalistic tendencies. In doing that, he wants to "kill" the only opposition party that will present a formidable challenge to his grip on power, and as 2019 approaches, decimating PDP becomes a task, so that the Party will be unable to present a strong candidate who would defeat him in the presidential election.

I wonder what those who deceived us, during the campaign, that Buhari is a changed democrat will say now. America covertly supported the election of Buhari, who's now turning out to be a crude dictator, and this is what the American government does; it goes about creating dictators in other places, who it uses and dumps, at will, for its own selfish interests, without taking the interests of the countries in question into consideration.

This was also part of what I wrote on May 15, 2015:

"It's nauseating that the west is creating so many problems everywhere. The west is creating dictators everywhere, because, it's finding it more convenient to work with dictators, but, once any of the dictators starts asserting himself, the west will go for his elimination. The west has created problems and caused messes all over the world for its selfish interests. The west made Saddam Hussein, used him for so many years, and when he wanted to be his own man, the west planned and eliminated him, without thinking of what will become of Iraq after Saddam Hussein was gone. Today, Iraq is in bad shape and 100 times worse than during Saddam Hussein's time, despite the atrocities he committed. Iraq might know no peace again, and the country Saddam Hussein was able to hold together, is now on the brink. Saddam used the Iran-Iraqi war to unite an unwieldy Iraq, made up of belligerent or bellicose ethnic nationalities, and it worked well. American and its allies should ask themselves if Iraq was better under Saddam or now. Also, the west made Gaddafi, used him, and when "he outlived his usefulness"; the west turned against him and eliminated him. But that has put Libya into a mess, and a thriving country that prospered under Gaddafi, is about to implode.

The west is about to create a dictator in Buhari, because, he agreed to repel the anti-gay law Goodluck Jonathan signed into law. The west will use and dump Buhari when it deems fit. That was why they invited him to G-7 meeting, and they didn't invite Goodluck Jonathan all the years he was president of Nigeria. Buhari attended the G-7 meeting a week after his inauguration, when he was supposed to stay at home to put together a government. The CIA predicted that Nigeria will break up in 2015, and everybody thought that the election may be the catalyst, but, not knowing that what CIA meant was that the process of that break up might start in 2015, and the actual break up will follow at a later date, if the problems are not well addressed. Permit me to say that Goodluck Jonathan is still one of the luckiest people I know, in that his "goodluck" hasn't forsaken him yet. His losing of the election might be a blessing in disguise for him, as he has freed himself from all the palaver of Nigeria; at least, if Nigeria implodes today, it will not be in his hands. Buhari and the north, asked for and got what they were looking for, and now, either they keep Nigeria "one" or make the mistakes that will set everybody "to his or her own tent" soon. Nigerians want Buhari to keep the promises he made to them during the electioneering, no excuses would do".

As the Secretary of State, John Kerry, leaves, he should take a message to President Obama, that the monster he helped create in Nigeria is "devouring" the citizens. Kerry should tell Obama, that just like an "old woman" employed as a baby sitter, Buhari, he helped to become the president, instead of taking good care of the "babies", rather, is "eating" them. John Kerry should tell president Obama that Nigerians are now harassed and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd, as such that many have died due to hunger, poverty, ignorance and disease. Kerry should not forget to tell Obama that because Buhari is the president, that there's "war" everywhere in Nigeria now.

President Obama should know that Nigerians are no longer the happiest people on earth, as they now rank 131 out of about 150 other peoples of other countries.

Now, workers are stealing, as they are being owed salary arrears; the federal civil servants are being owed months of salary arrears, and such was uncommon until Buhari became the president.

How millions of Nigerians are suffering is unimaginable, and women and children are the worst affected. Many Nigerians have died, especially the pensioners, who are not receiving their pensions again, and because of that, many have no money to buy even their drugs, leading to their untimely death.

John Kerry should let president Obama know that committing suicide is now rampant in Nigeria, unlike before; because of Buhari he helped into power. Just few examples: We read about a teacher in Jos, Plateau State, who was a pious and admired man in his community. This teacher's kid was sick, and he didn't have any money for his treatment, due to the non-payment of salaries. Not knowing what to do, this teacher decided to go and steal a goat, in order to sell it to raise money for his son's treatment. This teacher was an amateur thief; no good thief will steal a goat, as its bleat (cry) would betray the person. So this teacher, who was forced by the hardship in the land to steal, was caught. The community was surprised that such a man everybody respected did such a thing. On self recognition (of his piousness), many in the community were of the opinion that something must have made the revered and honest teacher to engage in such an ugly act. The community decided to let him go without any harm, even, some understood his predicament, and decided to allow him take the goat with him, which he refused to do. Getting home, the teacher decided to take his life, rather than live in shame and ignominy.

Also, we just read that a woman in Lagos, a single parent and mother of three, Olubunmi Uko, has disappeared from her home with her nine-year-old son, leaving a suicide note behind. We were told that the businesswoman left a seven-paragraph suicide note, informing her children and parents that she was going to jump into a lagoon and end it all, owing to her inability to offset a bank loan. The Vanguard had reported that the woman, in her suicide note, complained that she was tired of life, adding that by the time the letter would be seen, she would have ended inside the belly of a shark. She was said to have always complained of dwindling business due to high exchange rate, adding that she borrowed half a million naira to offset a loan, but decided to use it on her business with the hope to realise some gains, but failed.

Also, we learnt that a 66-year-old man, Mr. John Ekue, has committed suicide in the Mende area of Maryland, Lagos State. It was learnt that the victim, who worked as a driver for a paint company in Lagos State, killed himself over the failure of the company to pay his five-month salaries.

So many more instances abound out there, as these three above is just the tip of the iceberg. Obama should know that it will not be an overstatement, if one says that Buhari, he supported, helped cause these.

John Kerry should tell Obama that many Nigerians have lost their jobs, as many companies have closed, and the foreign ones have packed and left to other countries, just as cknnigeria.com wrote that 272 companies have closed down, while about 180, 000 jobs have been lost, according to the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria. In addition to the 180, 000 jobs lost, and according to the Vanguard, another 3000 workers lost their jobs, and the jobs of over 2000 workers are also on the line, as 20 shipping companies shut operations in Nigeria over Buhari's unfavorable economic policies. Also, many airlines operating in Nigeria have relocated to Ghana, and there also go the jobs with them.

President Obama should remember the prior to his election, a US government had already warned of the possibility of Nigeria breaking-up, even after the 2015 elections, and the possibility is still very high, because, the security and structure of Nigeria are in a very porous state due to Boko Haram activities, Fulani herdsmen attacks, religious violence and inter-ethnic chaos (ethnic and religious instability), the IPOB and MASSOB activities, the Niger Delta freedom fighters' actions, Buhari's selective war on corruption, his disobedience of court rulings, his dictatorial tendencies, and also the increasing rate of human rights abuses etc etc.

Even the United States' government is aware of the poor, nasty, brutish and short life in Nigeria, as such that in the first week of August 2016, it, The United States government, warned its citizens against travelling to 20 Nigerian states. The states deemed insecure for the American citizens include Bauchi, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Niger, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, and Zamfara. According to a travel warning issued on Wednesday, August 3, by the US department of state, any American citizen who travels to any of the aforementioned states does so at the detriment of his/her security. The question becomes: Why is the American government stopping its citizens from travelling all over Nigeria, afterall, it helped create this government that is incapable of anything good, and now, the American government should allow its citizens to come and enjoy the change it helped to midwife. My friend, Dr. Ben Onoh, puts it thus: "By warning its citizens against travelling to 20 Nigerian states, is that how America will partner Nigeria as quoted by Obama in his video broadcast to Nigerians, prior to the 2015 Presidential Election. Then Obama said:"And in this task of advancing the security, prosperity, and human rights of all Nigerians, you will continue to have a friend and partner in the United States of America". Now, has Obama worked assiduously hard in ensuring the entrenchment of stability in the country through the election of Buhari?"

Many Nigerians still can't understand why president Obama made a nationwide broadcast, to Nigerians, on the eve the 2015 presidential election, a move many saw as partisan. The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), while questioning the sincerity of Kerry's visit to Nigeria, lamented that his visit was discriminatory, personal, divisive, and was aimed at furthering the Federal Government's plan to continue to persecute the teeming population of Nigerian Christians. The Christian body then concluded that the attitude and disposition of the Secretary of State, and the discrimination he adopted during the visit, support accusations that President Barack Obama's administration, alongside Kerry and other strategic US politicians in the Obama's government, openly supported the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2015 general elections, which produced the current leadership of the country.

Remember that through a video broadcast to Nigerians, prior to the 2015 presidential election, Barack Obama also said this excerpt:

"I'm told that there is a saying in your country: "to keep Nigeria one is a task that must be done." Today, I urge all Nigerians-from all religions, all ethnic groups, and all regions, to come together and keep Nigeria one".

John Kerry should tell Obama that "keeping Nigeria one is no longer a task that must be done", rather, unshackling or unbundling or restructuring of Nigeria may be the best bet for all the stakeholders, and that might be what John Kerry's visit to Northern Nigeria has set in motion.

Finally, using the words of one of his own citizens, President Obama should know that Pete Hoekstra, a former chairman of the U.S. House Intelligence Committee from 2004 to 2007, in his article published by Wall Street Journal, said that President Muhammadu Buhari, whom Obama supported, is Nigeria's problem and not the solution.

Most of all, President Obama should know that Nigerians are not happy with him, and will never forgive him for being the only President of The United States of America, since the 1970s, who refused to visit Nigeria. What irked Nigerians increasingly about Obama's snub of the country is that as a black man, Nigeria should have been one of his first ports of call, outside the United States, as a president. President Obama failed big time, as far as Africa is concerned!
