ARE YOU STILL CONNECTED TO THE SOURCE?

"The chief danger of the 20th century will be religion without the Holy Ghost, Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration, politics without God, and heaven without hell." - William Boot

his is so true in our days. There is a visible drift already. How we need to find our back to the cross.

Are you still connected to the Source? The stream that forgets its source will dry up. A fan will not immediately come to a complete stop when turned off from the source; it takes a little while for that to happen. Examine yourself if you are still connected to the Source. The miracles may still be happening. The deliverances wrought through you might still be mind blowing. You might even have the grace to pull the crowd but sir/ma, take a moment and consider this, are you still connected to the Source. It might just be you have been disconnected and cut off. Your 'fan might still be spinning' but alas you have been turned off. It is just a matter of time. Unfortunately, our great works in ministry will not be the bases of God's judgment. Traveling from one city to another for evangelistic exploits. Hopping from one nation to another. Packing stadium full and having great overflows. As good as these are, they are no criteria for entering into the city made with gold. Sir, if you are not in tune with the Source, you are done for. Did you 'pull the plug' yourself? You have allowed 'busyness' even if it is in God's work to take you away from the Source. Bitterness and animosity that were once alien to you have grown to become your companion. The anger, pride and lies that we have termed as packaging had pulled our plug from the Source. The lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life had made us succumb to forces that are constantly at war to pull us away. You know sometimes I think; nothing is worth making me miss heaven. Not after the exploits. Not after all the sacrifices made in serving the Lord. Not after putting my life on the line, and then I'll be a cast away. God forbid! When you lie down lifeless and people weep and say great stuffs about the impact you have made in your generation and they say the usual 'may his soul rest in peace.' At that moment in time only you can tell if you are truly at peace. In this moment when people just leave home with the hope of returning and they never did. Billionaires have not succeeded in stopping the scourge of death otherwise, they could have paid their way through. Check yourself. Are you still connected to the Source? Don't handle this with levity. Consider your ways. Nothing is worth making you miss heaven. Think about it!
