hen God keeps you waiting then there is a reason and it is for a good cause. Always remember that His thoughts for your life are thoughts of peace which comes with a hope for the future. If God is making you to wait, then be prepared to receive more than what you asked for. Sometimes it seems God has forgotten about you. You have prayed and maybe fasted a couple of times but all to no avail; the mountain of problems remained unmoved. And maybe you have found yourself in a position where you have questioned the existence of God because you think He has forgotten you. Far from it! God is still God! He hasn't changed. He doesn't need improvement. He is the Ancient of Days and yet He doesn't grow old. When God keeps you waiting, it means He has something better for you. Don't run ahead of God. Just trust in God's timing, He has the perfect timing. Man may see but not notice you but this is not same with God. He has not overlooked you. He has something in store for you. There will be a day when the timing of it all will finally make sense and you will be so grateful, you waited on the Lord.
Someone shared an experience she had some time ago and this blessed me immensely and I will like to share same with you. She said when it was time for her to prepare lunch for her family, she took out a fresh Titus fish from the freezer. Suddenly her daughter who stood by watching, started crying and demanding that she gave her the fish to eat. She Kept trying to tell her in her own way that the fish was raw, that she needed to spice it up, cook and then take out the bones so it can be ready for consumption, but her toddler wouldn't hear but chose to cry louder and even fell to the ground and no one was able to comfort her. She decided to ignore her, went ahead to do what was right and when it was ready, she had her fish and didn't even remember all the drama she had put up.
And then the Holy Spirit ministered to her that this is how many of us cry for a blessing that is not yet ready. God is saying am spicing it up, cooking it and taking out the bones so you don't get choked.
If her little daughter knew, she would have waited patiently instead of being anxious. (Phil.4:6)
We should not be anxious for nothing, be still and know that He is God. He is spicing up that blessing so you will enjoy to the fullest.
Wait on the Lord! (Is.40:31) Like Job said: "All the days of my appointed time will I wait till my change comes." (Job 14:14)
When God keeps you waiting, it is for a greater purpose. One day, you will wake up and you will be so thankful to God that you didn't settle for just anything and you chose to wait on His plan for your life. Please never mistake God keeping you waiting for his absence. You may not understand now but eventually God will reveal why you went through everything you did. Above all, everything God is preparing for you is worth the wait. I pray for you that your waiting will not end in wailing. You will prevail over your travail. It is well with you. God bless you big.
