The Dictators' jamboree |

According to the P.M. News, "Second Republic president, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, Former head of state, General Yakubu Gowon, special adviser to the president on petroleum, Alhaji Rilwanu Lukman; some governors from the Northern states of the country and former chairman of the defunct Interim National Government are also expected at the lecture." Of course, the self styled evil genius and his handyman Buhari will be there as well. Is Gowon also among the prophets? And who then is their father? So Abubakar is now a Western university lecturer? And Shonekan is now an Hausa man? Wonders will never cease? I thought he had Yoruba tribal marks and is a bonafide 'shon of the shoil.' Well, maybe Babangida actually succeeded in 're-engineering' him just the same way he claimed that he re-engineered Nigeria. So through the ING Shonekan has been 'initiated' into the 'born to rule' cadre. My question is when will his kinsmen advise him that this errand-boy syndrome is not telling well on the rest of the Yorubaland. I mean this fake president that parades himself as a one-time Nigerian ruler is beginning to worry Nigerians about the flagrant display of illegitimacy. Now what about the huge 'largesse' which the CSU received from our erstwhile dictator, Abubakar, before appointing him a professor of dictatorial initiatives. I mean let's face it; half of Nigeria's foreign reserve got missing as Abubakar was on his way out of office. Now some of it is turning up in the West, as usual. One thing with Nigeria stolen money is that you can never hide it. It shows itself without effort. Okay, now that Abubakar is a professor, what will Babangida be? I mean he will want something bigger than what Abubakar has. He will probably execute a coup in Chicago State University to become the University President. They better watch him closely. You know he likes to be addressed as president, whether military or civilian, it doesn't matter. And what title will they give all those nineteen northern governors? Shagari and Shonekan will probably end up neck and neck as the weakest overseers Nigeria ever had. No wonder the are always hanging around those dictators like flies. But why would a Western University in a democratic nation play host to four of Africa's most bloodthirsty dictators and two of Africa's weakest ex-leaders thrown in for good measure. And only after they had coughed up huge sums of dollars as 'largesse' to the university. Is this a "Lessons in Dictatorship series" or what? What would Abubakar and his infamous tribalists teach the audience about democracy when all they know is coup plotting and feudalism? Is this a way to exhort money from dictators and at the same time make a mockery of Nigeria? It looks like Jesse Jackson wants to put the cordial relationship between Nigerians and the African American community to test. A respected elder like him should not start acting out at this time. Maybe dollars exchanged hands, but he should not draw attention to himself unnecessarily. We shall leave him and his cohorts there. Let us return to our Arewa friends. Let's face it: these Hausa/Fulani feudalists have played this 'born to rule' thing too far. The rest of Nigerians are not so blind as not to see the tribal card being played by these desperadoes. Britain would have been the natural place to host this gathering but since Alhaji Abubakar Alhaji has been eased out by a Yoruba man it will not be easy to plan and execute this dictators' jamboree without Obasanjo playing the Banquo's ghost. Thus they moved to United States where Jubril Aminu is busy laying out the red carpet. Regardless of what happens on Friday the twenty-third, one thing stands clear. The Hausa/Fulani and some elements from Middle Belt are sucking up to an American university and donating millions of dollars into its coffers when youths in the Hausa/Fulani and Middle Belt region of Nigeria called the 'almajiris' and 'talakawas' are mercilessly held hostage by disease, ignorance and abject poverty. These pitiful creatures, who form 97% of the whole youths in those areas of Nigeria are indeed the dregs of the society from which these pretender coming to Chicago State emanate from. These are the serfs of the wicked feudal system which these one-day Nigerian-Chicagoans perpetuate in Northern Nigeria. In conclusion, it is a shame that the Hausa/Fulani dictators and their Middle Belt serfs are funneling stolen Nigerian wealth to Western universities when 97% of Northern youths are stark illiterates and urchins. The West will take your money but at the end you will return to your lowly habitat. My last question is whether Shonekan is still an Egba man or is he now an official Hausa agent? I think the Nigerian legislature should decide this Shonekan issue. What does ING mean? Does it mean the 're-engineering' of a nation? |
