"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us" (Romans 8: 37).

ow do you see yourself? As a champion who wins or as a loser? Christians are not failures or losers. We are conquerors; that is what we are. We are winners, overcomers and champions; that is our nature and position in Christ (1 John 5: 4, 5, 11, 12, 18; 1 Corinthians 15: 57; Ephesians 1: 19-23, 2: 8-10). We are nothing less than an overcomer. It is not by our making. It is the Lord's doing. The Lord has made us conquerors. The Lord has fixed in us his divine nature. When you get a revelation of who you are in Christ, you know that with Christ on the inside of you, there is nothing that can happen that is more than you are because there is nothing that is too much for Him (1 John 4: 4).

It is so important for you to get this truth down in your heart and see yourself as more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. If not, then Satan will frustrate and confuse you and keep you from victory. And all the enemy wants to do is kill, steal and destroy what God wants us to have (John 10: 10). He wants to diminish you - make you small-minded and small in spirit so you will live a small, frustrate life.

Get this revelation of who you are in Christ as a born-again child of God so you will not be frustrated or discourage or feel like you are always under attack and just trying to get through the day. God has more for us than that.

Never forget that you are more than a conqueror. To be "more than conquerors" means we not only achieve victory, but we are overwhelmingly victorious. To be more than conquerors means we face the trials of life with the certainty that we are not alone. We have a mighty Father who fights for us. We approach the darkest valleys with confidence, knowing that nothing can happen to us that is not permitted by our loving Father to our good (Psalm 23: 4; Romans 8: 28).

Christians are not immune from suffering and challenges of this life. Even, we go through trials and crisis of this life because of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. But there is no attempt of the enemy that can steal the loving care of God from our lives, and that makes us more than conquerors through Christ who loves us. Satan is our adversary. He sends all kinds all kinds of life-defeating, joy-stealing attacks to threaten the well-being and faith of God's children. Many of these attacks are listed in Romans 8: 35 - 39: trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness and sword. Our experience in life includes tests, trials and tribulations and some of the trials we face in life can be excruciating. Whether it be illness, betrayal, temptations loss of a loved one, natural disasters, or some other ordeal, Apostle Paul is encouraging us to stand firm in our faith when those attacks come, reminding us that not only will we win in the end, but Jesus enables us to win now. Satan lacks the power to steal our eternal destiny, and he cannot separate us from the love of God right now.

Whatever your situation is today, God knows about it. He sees you and hears the cry of your heart. And if you will give Him your problems and do what He tells you to do, you will access His overcoming love, grace and power and be more than a conqueror. Because in Christ, as He is, so are we in this world. Because of Jesus' Resurrection, all threats against you are tamed. Jesus conquered death, so death and evil are not the end of the story. We have His promise of eternal life (John 3: 16; Titus 1: 2; 1 John 5: 11).
