BUHARI, A PRESIDENT AGAINST HIS COUNTRY, BUT LOYAL TO THIS ETHNIC GROUP AND RELIGION
igeria currently has one of the most sinister, dishonest, sectarian government in the world. It is a kind of government the world has never seen before, where the loyalty of the president is not to the country that elected him, but to members of his ethnic group scattered in many countries in the region.
The result of this is that the Nigerian government, army, police and judiciary are not serving the people, but serving the interest of the president.
This is the reason why the Nigerian defence minister is defending Fulani herdsmen and proffering reasons why they are committing crimes against humanity, instead of condemning their crimes against humanity and committing the resources of the state to bring them to justice.
This is why the Nigerian army and police are dispatched to regions after Fulani herdsmen attack, not to find the perpetrators of the crime and bring them to book, but to protect them and prevent the people from retaliating.
This is why the Buhari led government has refused to move against Fulani herdsmen even though the the security agencies know where they reside, who is sponsoring them and how they get their weapons.
This is why the president of Nigeria refuses to condemn crimes against humanity and do what any honest and sincere president would do under the circumstance. Instead, the president wants to confiscate other ethnic group ancestral lands to build colonies for them. This is why the Buhari administration is reluctant to take the restructure of Nigeria forwards.
The revelation that Buhari asked the IMF to concentrate its activities in the north and the fact that Buhari has pursued a northernisstion agenda gives credence to what has been an open secret that Buhari only really cares about the north and his loyalty is to his Fulani ethnic group and wahabi Islam. http://thenigerialawyer.com/buhari-asked-us-to-focus-on-northern-nigeria-wbank/
In 1983, Buhari showed that he does not identify with anything that is not either Sunni Islam or Fulani. Between 1983 and 1985, Peter Onu of Nigeria was Acting Secretary-General of the OAU. At the 1985 Summit in Addis Ababa. President Julius Nyerere of Tanzania and many others lobbied for his election as substantive Secretary-General.
However, there was a major stumbling block to Peter Onu's candidature: his Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari, was campaigning against him for the only reason that he was not from his ethnic group.
Prior to then, Buhari had said: "This generation of Nigerians and indeed future generations have no other country than Nigeria."
However, when it came to the Choice of who he wished to become Secretary General of OAU, Buhari preferred a candidate from another country who is Fulani.
In the election of the OAU Secretary-General in 1985, Buhari voted against Nigeria . He voted for Ide Oumarou, a Fulani man from Niger instead of an Igbo man from Nigeria.
By so doing, Buhari became the first and only Head of State in the history of modern international relations to vote against his country in favour of his tribe... - Vanguard, February 3, 2015. The OAU: Reality Or Fiction by Ibrahim Daggash, former Head of Information and Communication, Organization of African Unity (OAU); pg 69; ISBN 1-9044722-25-3._
What the author found troubling was Buhari's reaction when the vote was tallied and Gen. Buhari found out his country man was defeated. Ibrahim Daggash stated it thus in his book, _"What was astonishing, when the vote was in favour of Niger's candidate, the Nigerian Head rejoiced to such a degree that he was unable to control his emotions. That was a moment I witnessed and was convinced that General Buhary would not last long as a leader."_
Since coming back to power, Buhari's ethnic prejudice and penchant for vendetta have shown no sign of abating
The first thing he did on assuming power was retire over 200 senior military officers mainly from the south and appointed norther Sunni Muslims, who are mainly Fulanis to most senior positions. Then he set out to punish the section of the country who did not vote for him using his 95% 5% formula. Under his leadership, most senior positions in Nigeria are occupied by people from Buhar's ethnic group.

Buhari ignored court orders in dealing with IPOB agitation and used peaceful agitation for Biafra as excuse to satisfy his thirst for Igbo blood. He could not hide his hatred of Igbos and has continued to abuse his power in pursuit of ethnic vendetta.
In 2017, the Buhari government claimed that federal government will pay 88 billion Nairn to victims of Nigeria Biafra war. On the face value, one would think that it is a sensitive move. However, it is another orchestrated attempt to deceive and exploited Nigeria.
The suit for compensation of Biafra war victims was instituted by Deminers Concept Nigeria Limited, owned by Bala Yakubu, a retired Military officer with over 30 years of military combat experience.
The primary purpose of the suit is commercial; to get FG's patronage on demining the region of unexploded ordinances.
While 50 billion naira compensation will go to 493 identified victims of these unexploded ordinances, the rest 33 billion Naira will go to the company, Deminers Concept Nigeria Limited owned by Bala Yakubu who served directly under Buhari during the encounter with the Chadian rebels in 1983. Just in case you are wondering why FG jumped at paying the judgement debt, this is it. It has nothing to do with Biafra war victims.

Since coming to power, the Buhari administration has been ignoring court orders, looting the treasury, padding budgets condoning extrajudicial killings, protecting Fulani herdsmen terrorists, selective in its prosecution of corrupt politicians, detaining suspects without trial, retiring mainly senior military officers from the south from the north army, discriminating in appointments on the basis of ethnicity and religion and condoning unlawful use of force by the police and military. What all these say, is that Nigerian has a government whose interest in different from what is in the best interest of the people.
Nigerians must wake up, the Fulanis are at war to conquer territories in the middle belt and south Nigeria and Buhari is leading in this war. We need a new equal free and Sovereign Nigeria, where ethnicity and religion are irrelevant. Vote for change in 2019.
