Continued from Response 1

ou asked whether such a thing can happen in Nigeria, I carefully answered you that I do not for see it happen during the tenure of Buhari Presidency because he has corruption to fight so that the quality of our lives can be improved. But I have learnt from experience not to say 'never' If anyone, 10 years ago had said that by 2015, same sex marriage will become legal in the US, many people will say it is impossible. But here we are.

Let me take you back to 2004 when President George Bush jnr was seeking the second term in office. His external policy had failed during his 1st term. He attacked Sadam Hussein, then president of Iraq with the excuse that Iraq had nuclear weapons. It turned out that the allegation was false. American soldiers were being brought home in bags while many others were maimed. Americans were frustrated and distraught. So, many people had believed that it was a forgone issue that he was going to lose.

President Bush's (jnr) opponent, John Kerry (Democratic candidate) had sympathy for the gay (homosexual; people of same sex who want to live in unholy, perverse and irritating matrimony) but the incumbent, Bush would have nothing of it. Citizens backed the view of Bush and voted for him but rejected John Kerry. Bush had his job retained.

Several surveys conducted after the election indicated that citizens voted for moral values.

Whereas Barack Obama himself up to 2008 distanced himself from the gay rights advocate, eight years later (2012), Barack Obama (D) took the same path, which led to the failure of John Kerry in 2004 to clinch the White house.

I became worried why he would not learn from a very recent history; worried, because I want him to retain the occupancy of the White house for the second term.

But I quickly added in places where I had the opportunity to speak concerning the then forth coming election, that Obama being a very smart and intelligent fellow must have done his studies carefully and observed the direction where the pendulum of the thoughts of Americans was swinging. I concluded that if he won the American votes, then the Biblical prophecies are coming into fulfillment faster than imagined.

He won, in spite of all the campaigns launched against his position on gay rights by the religious bodies.

So, I published an article in the nigeriaworld.com on January 29 2013 titled "The Great Drift from Moral Values. Prophecies in Fulfillment"

https://nigeriaworld.com/feature/publication/aweda/012913.html

Everything that is happening around are all in fulfillment of prophecies

Paul, the apostle wrote his spiritual son, Timothy as recorded in the book of 2 Timothy of the Bible chapter 3:

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that"

America and other Western countries are legalizing same sex marriage in fulfillment of the prophecy "Without natural affection"

Even if future governments of Nigeria do not legalize same sex marriage and still retains stiff penalties for homosexuality, we have many other vile and vices staring us in the face, which are events of the last days. Look at the list carefully, which of those listed vices is missing in Nigeria? So anything can happen.

The prophecy states that "They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly" Is the prophecy not in fulfillment in Nigeria? Which other nation is as religious as Nigeria? We are an extremely religious people and at the same time extremely wicked and morally bankrupt.

And in anyway, I have heard it that some of our big men in Nigeria indulge in the orgy of homosexuality though they still do it with women. They are toying with hell. But I am not sure we shall reach the point of legalizing the act.
