Tokunbo Ogunbiyi is a veterinarian-toxicologist who lives and works in London, England. He would not consider himself either a "writer" or a "journalist"; but as an interested Nigerian and member of the human race he considers it imperative to contribute to discourse on the position of the human family particularly the Nigerian community at home and abroad.

As a school-boy 'journalist' Toks was involved along with others at Government College, Ibadan, in a student rag called "the Beacon". Needless to say that journal did not thrive but it did survive for a while. Later Toks was editor of the school magazine, 'the Rock'.

Toks hopes to contribute general articles but his principal passion is how science and technology can contribute to lift Africa out of the morass of poverty, underdevelopment, disease and general loathing by the rest of humanity.
