olumes have been written about President Muhammadu Buhari's presidency, but one of the most disturbing accusations that have been levied against this administration is the existence of a cabal that runs the government from behind the scene for egocentric purposes. This cabal has Mamman Daura (the president's nephew) as its head. One will not be totally surprised to this ugly development, especially if one recalls that during Buhari's Military rule, his deputy Tunde Idiagbon (late) was the de facto president, while Buhari was largely ceremonial. But this is democracy and a resort to a gang government to the detriment of the well being of the masses that voted during the elections is unacceptable and must be resisted by every well meaning Nigerian.
Our father who art a Fulani,
We, the forgotten hail you at your throne of thongs and pleasure.
Your step children are submerged in the ocean of lamentation unending.
For the sins of the gang in the dark performed,
Have now been rewarded on the many, helpless.
En masse they echoed 'Sai Baba', change,
Until you perched on the Rock of Abuja, democracy.
But the veto of the gang from the chamber of secrecy, selfish,
Has now become the commandment of the land of my fathers, unbearable.
To whom shall the voter of change beckon for salvation?
In the slumber of confusion rests the demiurge of our politics, trouble.
'Sai Baba' was for Mr. Buhari not Daura.
Our train of change took off from the Bourdillon Park Station, West.
And where was Kyari when Amechi wrestled with his kinsman unperturbed?
Only for Rufai to become the Assistant Coach from the Center of Learning,
Rochas is confused and Imolites are owed.
For our In-law in Chief is now an assistant, improper.
He who swore to the Hippocratic Oath, Ngige,
Is now the Labour Master, confusion.
Is there no difference between a syringe and a spade?
The answer is called compensation.
Buhari is pale but 'Dr'. Babachir says he is fit, power holding.
Brother Kanu and Uncle Dasuki should visit home, bail.
But 'Justice' Lawal Daura overrules justice, injustice.
Herdsmen are on a mission of blood, but 'General' Baba is taciturn, brotherhood.
Our economy heads south but 'Emperor' Daura enjoys the honeymoon of indifference.
Osibanjo was a 'mere' commissioner, favour.
To London Baba absconded for survival, mercy.
And the Pastor crisscrossed the land, grace and unity.
Only for Wike, the stubborn, be crowned Mr. Projects, 'Un-nigerian'.
Saint Buhari is back and the Biafra Child dances in the moonlight of confusion.
For there is Buratai, a gang initiate, who has postponed our independence till 6017,
When the oil of the Avengers would have been drained and dried.
And the IPOBs reincarnated to the Continent of Katsina, greed.
But who owns the land, the gang or the people? Fear.
180million minus 50 equals to what? Power.
To whom shall the blame go for this nefarious stronghold? Revolution.
The majority of cowards swimming in the ocean of some Divine Intervention,
Or the 'unconfronted' few basking in the euphoria of 'unfought' war?
If Mbaka. Fayemiwo and Bakare are unperturbed, I'm not with them.
If Falana and Agbakoba are unconcerned, I'm not with them.
If CAN and PFN's reaction to this 'sin' is perfunctory, I'm not with them.
And if silence remains golden in the face of this anomaly, then I remain proudly Biafran.
For I stand with Fayose, Kayode, Ubochi and Ango.
I pitch my tent with Oyedepo, Suleiman, Junaid and Ndukwe.
Till the day many more will join the Army of Truth and Courage.
To rescue Nigeria from this inglorious Buhari Cabal.
And based on logistics Mbaise becomes a State it deserves to be.
